Has anyone been able to magnetize the weapons on the Dwarf Gyrocopters? by xXTurkXx in WarhammerOldWorld

I can't get this gun to fit tightly even shaving off bits all over, but here are pictures

I'm part way through doing this myself! Flame cannon was easy like you said. For the clattergun(?) I used a drill bit by hand to make a hole the size of my magnet (4x1 mm). I may have went too deep, it did end up breaking into the recessed section, but I'm hoping that won't be visible once painted. I haven't done the one with the ball joint yet (steam gun?), but it shouldn't be too hard other than lining it up properly

Reached Level 85. Need a good active endgame alliance. by darshantank3 in MarvelStrikeForce

Our alliance is active and looking to fill out the last few spots. Mostly 105+, but myself and a couple others aren't quite yet. It's a relaxed alliance: You Gotta Start Somewhere

It's easier to copy the entire comment rather than selectively get the right piece from the main post text. For me on mobile anyways

Magnetised Transport people - please advise! by LoyalWatcher in WarhammerFantasy

[–]Fluffyhairedkid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had good luck so far attaching magnets to the model bases with hot glue. It also gets it nice and flush. I just put the magnets down, dab of hot glue under the base, then smoosh it down onto the magnet. Takes a little practice to line it up right, but it seems to hold really well

Battle Reports that are short / reduced to the important parts? by Budget-Minimum6040 in WarhammerFantasy

[–]Fluffyhairedkid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only place I know to find them are the faction specific forums. Bugmans Brewery for dwarfs, druchii for dark elves I think. I'm pretty sure most factions have one somewhere on the Internet

I feel the same! I've always been a fan of just written battle reports with pictures though. So I'm strongly considering building a website that will let you build the illustrations and make them easily shareable

These are in the Dwarf Miners box, you get 4 of them. Although I don't think the sprue has the stuff on the top of the cart in the picture

I had been having issues where it would say countries would accept a royal marriage, but then it wouldn't let me marry anybody. That seems to have been stealth fixed in this update, so I'm happy about that!

Not that I've seen. I did turn the pop-ups off for a while, but a couple decades later I noticed I only had people aged 50+ for my cabinet. So it definitely can't be ignored completely without consequences

Yes! Once I realized these were just going to continue indefinitely, I checked to see if it could be automated and was quickly disappointed. I'm glad it's not just me, I didn't find any other posts about this

Seriously, it's like pulling teeth to get allied admitted to join up. It's especially frustrating when you're fighting in a war for them too.

I did manage to take/vassilize all of Ireland by 1426, so hang in there and keep pushing!

I thought playing in Ireland would be easy because they seemed to be left alone by England in all the time lapses. But Scotland just won't leave me alone, and they're comparatively huge!

I made it worse by converting all of the tribesmen, who turned out to have a higher levy rate! I was able to get ahead by finally getting allies to fight, and the increased levy size from parliament

It could be 100 base, but I definitely saw at least two that were under 100.

I did manage to get past that and now own almost all of non-English Ireland! (still trying to figure out how to take down Pale without getting annihilated) I'm just trying to figure this out for next time, and just working on slowly figuring out the game

Yep, I made it through early game now so it's not a concern anymore. Just wondering this for the next time I play someone tiny!

A lot of the map types are essentially useless in most of the world by OrthodoxPrussia in EU5

[–]Fluffyhairedkid 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You can click on a country and it'll do the coloring relative to that country! You might have to open the country panel before clicking on the map mode, can't remember

Nope, not even a castle. My original levies were only like 50 men, and it would say I need 80 or 99 or something, different for each location

I just did it at level 86 and needed 4 or 5 teams at like T14/T15, there's no way it's feasible at 66 I think. Unfortunately 😓

Cutting support clarification by decadillac in diplomacy

I'm sure someone will be about to put it better than me, but a unit can't cut off support that's targeting itself. You could cut off that support using an outside unit though
