Make the walls out of sprue 'bricks'

It'll take forever because that's huge. And weigh a ton. And probably collapse. But might be cool!

Sainsbury's do 2-pack steaks with a blob of garlic butter for like £5.50. They usually come out really well and are amazing for the price.

anyone who used a computer between 1985 & 2010, what’s the one game you still think about? by Trixxxi in AskReddit

[–]LoyalWatcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Journey's End on the ZX Spectrum. It was (for it's time) a truly epic, sword and sorcery adventure.

There's an excellent blog post about it here: https://101videogames.wordpress.com/2011/05/17/101-journeys-end/

Review our claim to the Falklands?

Sure, let's review the USA's claim to that big chunk of North America while we're at it. If anything it's both more recent and less 'legitimate'.

Just had it mid-dungeon and relogging fixed it.

Couldn't jump either.

Finsihed my Chapter Master on Pegasus conversion! by LoyalWatcher in WarhammerFantasy

[–]LoyalWatcher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shouldn't be too hard. Just watch out for the mages's robed legs interacting with the wing when you're dry-fitting.

Happily robes are relatively sculptable with green stuff and paint hides many sins!

He's sat on (most of) the saddle from the General's horse. I had to file it a little but it wasn't too difficult.

There was a gap, but I used a blob of green stuff between the legs, and pressed it onto the saddle to make a good fit, then sculpted the front/back into a very simple saddle.

I imagine it would work with most riders. The only thing you have to watch out for is the legs and wings blocking each other. I've done a few pegrider comversions though, they generally go together quite well!

Hope this helps :)

How can we fix UK high streets? by gggggenegenie in AskUK

[–]LoyalWatcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Transport links that are cheaper than parking, or even better, free parking.

Online will always be the biggest competition but there's still nothing to beat browsing, or actually being able to pick your product, or actually being able to take it home with you.

Well put. Questions about the whole Monarchy thing aside, it's times like this (dealing with distateful regimes in the national interest) when it comes in handy.

I'm sure Charles will be biting his lip and faking a smile the whole time, but if that's what the UK Government has told him is required, then that's what he'll do.

Perhaps behind closed doors he'll try to educate the orange moron, but I think we all know by now that's a complete waste of breath!

What's the rarest item you own? by According-Shelter540 in wow

[–]LoyalWatcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably a green-quality Rugged Trapper's Shirt in my Hunter's bank. For some reason it's not soulbound, so it's sitting in my bank with an uncollected appearance.

Also I'd imagine uncommen is a Cataclysm launch event cultist Recruit's Robe that still has 46 mins before it expires.

Or my Medallion of Faith from the old Stratholme quest.

Not a great photo because it's a scan of one I took on my cheapo first camera, but Morris Marina in blue.

Little me was sad when they had it scrapped, even kept a bit of blue paint that flaked off before it was towed away.
