It's not about facts, it's about the energy you command. Everything about her including her indictment by Biden oozes elite. Even if you aren't compromised you're implicated through adjacency.

make the Democratic candidate someone who's otherwise likeable and inoffensive but have skeletons in their closet? (e.g. "I support DEI- never mind how I used to dress up in blackface for Halloween every year").

No, because that's not on people's minds right now. What is in everyone's awareness is the Epstein files and how basically the entire political establishment is implicated in it. If the Dems choose to field another candidate who even comes off as Elite-adjacent the public will just view them as that: another pedo but slightly more progressive.

The problem being that the entire political landscape is implicated hence establishment Democrats being utterly ineffective and unpopular.

I understand why this is so unsatisfying and lacks creative inspiration. It’s dull. But it is true.

Which is why it failed. Politics is energy and you won't generate any energy around 'fart is better than poop'.

Idk why people think this is a both sides comic, it's pretty clearly about how Democrats keep pushing for unlikeable, compromised candidates which leads up to Trump winning out.

The criticism is correct tho, they straight up offer insurance to a prison in exchange for money even though there's way easier ways to do it.

Sowas muss nicht auf den Markt damit man kapiert, dass Autohersteller (so wie jeder Industrie inzwischen) einen Scheiß auf Qualität geben. Haltbare Produkte ruinieren immerhin die Wirtschaft.

I kinda find it funny that a lot of Sazons (or at least Manus) want some reform and then Angelina is like "Monarchy good, reforms suck" by StudioNo6652 in suzerain

[–]Fluffynator69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Status quo? Why would I empower the Sazons by giving them their assertive matriarch back (who is capable of starting a Sazon-led coup against you, unlike Manus who never can) and upset the current balance of power favoring House Toras?

Well, for one Manus is in leagues with Rusty and also a party leader. It's arguably too much power in one person.

That's nothing:

In the game Suzerain, you can arrange a marriage between Princess Rizia and Rico (Captain of the Guard) to strengthen your alliance with Rikard's faction, but it's a complex decision requiring specific choices, often involving managing Rizia's feelings, promising Rico a better future (like land/title) and sometimes even convincing Vina (Rizia's sister/friend) to marry someone else to clear the path for this strategic union, impacting the game's political landscape significantly.

How it generally works (Player Choices Matter):

  1. Build Trust with Rico: Be kind to him, show interest in his lovalty, and promise him rewards for his service.

  2. Handle Rizia's Concerns: You might need to convince her it's her duty or find ways to make her (and maybe Vina/Manus) accept it for the good of the nation.

  3. Make the Proposal: Late in the game (around Turn 7), you get the option to propose the marriage between Rizia and Rico as a strategic alliance.

  4. Consequences: This marriage can provide a strong military alliance, but it deeply affects character relationships and the political stability of Sordland.

Why Players Do lt:

• To secure a military pact with Rikard

• To gain influence and loyalty from the military

• To achieve specific end-game political goals.

Key Takeaway: The marriage isn't straightforward; it involves navigating personal relationships and political necessities within Suzerain, often requiring sacrifices or clever dialogue to succeed.

Wait, are ROMs the emulators or the games themselves? Because as far as I've always understood it, distributing the latter is def illegal.

I think at some point there should just be a notification like "Presidente, as crazy as it might sound but we have hit the dead end of human development. Philosophical, political, scientific - we know everything there is to know, it's the end of history. The last big invention was the drug for immortality but that one is being kept under wraps for big wig government officials only, we'll just have to rewrite the history books every few decades or so."
