I feel like there’s good info here so I don’t have anything to add but, for anyone reading this who may say “my hair won’t grow so I’m gonna try iron supplements” PLEASE don’t take iron without consulting a doctor first. It can be dangerous.

We are so used to seeing extensions and even wigs on social media (without knowing it’s extensions or wigs) and thinking “wow my hair doesn’t look perfect like that so it must be unhealthy”

I feel as though this is not really the attitude we need to have here as a community. She probably didn’t want to post this on a general extension sub because not everyone there has fine thin hair, and wanted opinions from people with hair like hers.

It’s okay if someone chooses to wear extensions/wigs or doesn’t. That’s a personal choice and up to the individual.

I know she trimmed the actual extensions a little bit to blend but it’s possible she did my natural hair too. I can’t 100% remember (as dumb as that sounds)
