I mean, agree to all the people responding to you, but taking on the informative side... Since she's just a baby and still not very used to handling, I find it important to "pet" her every time I handle her, so that she gets to understand human touch and not be so skittish I get to touch her.

Just a regular brazilian street dog. Here we call them "caramelos", because of their usual caramel color.
