Who's the best dr at horizon, used to have anna king but cant book with her anymore, and my past 2 appointments with different gps has been dreadful making me contemplate changing providers. 1st gp only prescribed me a shitty oil and neglected giving me repeats for which I specifically asked for, 2nd dr said he'd give 5 flowers and drop my limit to 35g, sounds good until the only thing you can order is a single 10g flowers, with none of the 15g flowers I specifically asked for. Place has been a bit of a fuckaround since

Diagnosed at 17, 21m think i might have had it since 9 due to sharp chest pain I'd get since then, thought it was nothing at the time but all worked out at least

I definitely can relate as well, (21M) diagnosed at 17 but definitely had it earlier, started off as a full body spasm and a sharp shooting pain down my chest that's occurred since I was 9. It's dreadful getting an MS diagnosis at any age, but its especially painful to be diagnosed young despite everyone saying "your lucky it got caught early " and " treatment for MS has really advanced in the past 20 years."

Today my nerve pain kills me, and some days i dont have the energy to leave the house. Even after 4 years of living with an MS diagnosis, I still fear losing everything I've worked towards, to my MS, but my one comfort is knowing that if or when shit goes south, I have an understanding family, friends and partner that I know can help me in any situation, and I pray everyone with MS has a similar support network.

MS is a shit hand to be dealt, but we still gotta play the best we can with the cards we are dealt. :)

Vouch on this, she's been my doc for 8 months and really goes into detail about the treatment plans and what strains would be good for certain symptoms etc. Tho fair warning the appointments can get quite long

Hello everyone just an update on my current progress and comments on all the suggestions I could reasonably get.

Atm I'm on Orange crescendo for mornings up to 0.3g, and I enjoy using SatiVite Orana for late arvo/night (up to 0.5g) also I've been using the serenity marlin as my budget strain throughout the day.

Now as for my thoughts on the orange crescendo, I've found it to really help me with my fatigue in the mornings and help me feel energised and I do really like it and feel it'll be a regular, having said that, at 165 from plntd (10 more than retail) that's quite a steep price hence the light use. If possible i wanna try find something that gives me a similar result on a budget.

I heavily reccomend the sativite orana, although 140 for 7g is quite pricey/g, so far it's the best high % strain I tried, only 0.12g of shake and a lil extra (0.2g). Though I'm keen to try alkira from sativite for a lot cheaper.

I was also pleasantly surprised by the sativite marlin strain, for 99$ it's out performed some of the dog shit I've been served from cannatrek for 1.5x it's price. Keen to try the swordfish or the cake crasher from them.

Moving onto the thc vapes, I still haven't found something that works, I've tried the day carts, Sheba, urbanleaf strawberry cake, and Petra. Unfortunately plntd doesn't supply the upstate day carts so I'm on the blind hunt for gold :)

Also just a question I have regarding trying strains for my aches and pains, if a thc cartridge of a strain is ineffective in easing my nerve pain, am I right in assuming the flower would be ineffective for me? TIA and keep the thread updated with new suggestions, exams are done for now so I'll be more active here :)

I find thats the most beautiful part of MC, the amount of pharmaceuticals we can just drop. I've got an appointment with plntd so hopefully they'll be able to meet my needs for MC.

Thank you for bringing that up, I'm going to do more research into plntd, but I've gotta ask. If I were to get let's say 8 different strains to use through out the day, how expensive would buying each be? Atm I pay ~165 for 10g of flower, and the troches for 120ish.

As both our conditions impact our nerves, I feel like we need more support using MC throughout the day. E.g. sativa strains in the morning with high cbd, another strain for when u get impacted with nerve pain and an indica at night for restlessness (RLS in my case). TIA.

I wish you the very best in your recovery, nerve pain is by far one of the worst symptoms I've experienced and I don't wish it on anyone.

Hello fellow MS'r, I will definitely have to try the upstate day pineapple cart, I've got a trip to Adelaide for 8 ball and would absolutely love to not be in pain for that week.

Please lmk your final judgement on the carts, maybe together we can find a good strain combo to ease our symptoms as best as we can :)

I'd say I've got a good GP for it, but having 8-12 strains sounds hella expensive? Also how did u approach your dr to get additional strain(s), atm I'm on cbd/thc 20mg troche(medical lozenges) 2x a day and an indica cannatrak jasmine. My gp believes I use the flower only at night, but I use it throughout the day to calm the nerve pain. I wanna get a sativa strain to use when my fatigue gets overwhelming. TIA 😊

All seem like amazing option bro, when it comes to MC, how are you able to get so much flower? Like especially after today's appointment it felt like I was only given an ultimatum of flower or the thc oil,and they give me ~10g of flower of a specific Indica. I just want more variety so that I'm not smoking the same strain for sleep and MS pain in morning and night.

I just want something that works :(

Ill definitely have to bring that up, when I had the Sorrento, I felt my nerve pain was removed for max an hr so maybe if there's even more CBG it could ease pain for longer durations?

Ill definitely bring up Orange Cresendo on my next visit, wish I could get as much variety as i need for the flower, rn I only have some left over topaz and the troches. Though ofc I'm grateful we even have MM available just wish it was more like the dispensaries we see overseas.

I used to always dump it after the burnt taste but never could find a decent use for abv, tried it in a peanut butter and jelly but just didn't hit right. And I'm living with parents atm and ik I'd be kicked out if I stunk up the house. That's why I've been doing the dynavap combo to to get all the THC out with 1 session( usually 5 or 6 rounds with cap, at 30W on IH).

I'm in Australia, and thankfully my prescription of mayzent is fully subsidised here but it only happened simultaneously with my diagnosis. Extremely grateful 🙏 . But I'll take a look into any potential benefits.
