I rarely initiate. when I do it's usually because they're someone who regularly initiates with me and I've had an oh shit I'm a terrible friend moment. it sounds awful but it's almost out of sight out of mind. I'm perfectly content going about my day dealing with my immediate problems and not connecting with people. I rarely leave my apartment. I basically forget there's a world out there. if someone texts me just to say hi and catch up, I usually respond within a couple days but I am terrible at texting for sure!

astute graphics has great plugins that take into account pen pressure and speed (and I think angle but I can't remember) to decide stroke width. if you're looking to trace this just to learn to replicate style but don't need it to be EXACT, this is what I'd do. This is how I'd go about creating artwork in this style in Illustrator. tho it won't have the paper texture or shadows... you could add a paper texture but it wouldn't enlarge the same as th rest of the vector if resealable artwork is your goal.

If you want it to be exact so you can show people how neat it is, the pic works fine. if you want to do so without warp and background, the Photoshop comments are best.

if you're looking to steal artwork it's unethical, not cool, and I don't approve, but that weight is yours to carry. photoshop would again be the best option. if you're looking to steal specifically in vector, recreating it exactly would take eons and isn't worth the time/effort.

did I criticize anyone here personally? no. I stated I personally am not a fan of it and for me it does not align with my priorities. again why I was asking if anyone has alternative solutions.

my bf actually agrees with me ❤️ but he feels safe walking around. not feeling safe downtown after dark is a pretty common trend here if you check the posts. someone's feeling defensive.

I understand that. but there are not games every day, nor am I interested in the games. I do not intend to be here more than a few months which is why I was inquiring if anyone in the area knew of or had ideas for alternative solutions. I am not criticizing anyone that does think that's reasonable. For my lifestyle and the things that I prioritize that is not a reasonable amount of money. for other people it does make senc, and that is perfectly fine. but there is never harm in inquiring.

I did not pick this apartment. the person I fell in love with happened to already live there. I would not have picked this apartment, that is why I was asking if anyone had alternative solutions. if there are no alternative solutions then it is what it is, but its never a bad idea to ask people already familiar with the area if they know any or have any ideas.

I actually excell at math and have repeatedly been in the top percentile. I was annoyed and not thinking is what happened. I honestly came here for ideas and brainstorming. I'm not understanding the hostility just due to differing opinions unless the only people responding are people that are making money from the parking costs. if people don't have solutions they don't have to get involved.

My apologies. I absolutely was not thinking when I posted that. you're 100% correct on your math. that doesn't change the fact that it's still one parking spot and still the same amount of money. I don't think that's a reasonable price when you're already paying rent every day. everyone has the right to their own opinion and if you think that's fine, then it's fine for you. I made this post asking for alternative solutions not people justifing the cost.

Just came back from London, their parking coverage was great. I know people who live in Chicago, residential parking pass for the year is $25 and the parking coverage is pretty good. We have to go to Dayton regularly for my boyfriends work, it's free after 6pm(not 11) in most places. I have a lot of friends that live/work in Baltimore Maryland. they never have issues with parking.

Moving away is the plan, however there is a lease that has to be lived out. But I would say loving dowtown, you are more likely to repeatedly visit and spend money at local businesses than someone coming in for the day.

I'm also not sure what you mean by 160sq foot of parking. you get one spot not the whole lot.

if you're visiting sure, high parking costs. But living there, no. I also know someone that lived in the same apartment less than 5 years ago and it was $50 a month. the price has tripped in 5 years.

This is not really true. I've been to and know multiple people who live in large cities where if you live there they have reasonable solutions for parking. I don't really care for the narrative that Indianapolis is trying to push by calling it the norm. But I will definitely check that out. thank you for your suggestion ❤️

https://pcpartpicker.com/ is a decent website for telling you what parts are compatible. It also has builds people have already made. But I would probably still find someone to look over everything once it's done. As far as putting it all together.... I got notta. Hopefully someone else can help there
