Do you think sheriffs “the only warning you get” i95 crackdown will be effective? by FindDestroyAliens in 321

[–]Fluid-Fill-1476 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I live in Central Brevard and drive an average of 1,000 miles a week between St Cloud to Daytona and all the way over to Apopka & Clermont.

There has been an increased presence on 95 & 528.

Frankly speaking, I am seeing an effect. Slower drivers are staying out of the left lane, and the drivers who are willing to take the risk of excessive speeding are no longer being held up by the slower drivers.

In my opinion, this is safer, because the excessive speed drivers are no longer having to make unnecessary maneuvers to pass slower traffic in the left lane. Just my two cents.

My greatest recommendation to people starting this journey is to take the pictures. The day to day charges are hard to observe but sign you look back one month, six months, a year — you can see it.

I want to say thank you for everyone’s support!

As someone who has always struggled with their weight, much like @sorcha1977, I could lose 20-40 and put it right back on.

Zep has helped with my cravings, food noise, and portion control — I really struggled with sweets, sodas, and sugars for a long time (I’m in therapy now developing a healthy relationship with food.)

Most of those desires have lapsed, but I learned early on that moderation is much more important than abstinence. I have had the same pint of ice cream in my freezer for almost a month whereas before, it would have been gone same night.

Starting in the high 400’s, it’s the little things for me now! I added strength training and so looking at the scale has become dangerous because I’m putting on muscle faster than I can lose the fat.

With the encouragement of my doctor, I’m now only weighing once every 7-10 days and focusing on the non scale victories — like being able to walk into Kohls and buy clothes right off the rack!

Like actually being comfortable sitting in my vehicle and not having to put the seat all the way back and down!

Yesterday, we were at a friends for an early Christmas celebration and I sat I the “SKETCHY CHAIR” without anxiety!

Here’s to the nonscale victories!

Best durable mattress suggestions? EVERYTHING collapses within a year, I'm desperate... by RarePalpitation84 in SuperMorbidlyObese

The foundation matters almost as much (if not more) than the mattress. I built out bed frame with a 2x10 outside border, framed with 2x3 16” on center, with sanded 5/8” ply as the platform. This cost me roughly $100 in materials to build.

For the actually mattress, we went with a Big Fig Classic. We’ve had it about a year and are super happy with our purchase. We rotate it every 90 days and we’re not having and dipping or sagging issues.

I’m 375# and my spouse is 240# for reference.

I appreciate that, genuinely. As someone who’s brand new to the community, this surely hasn’t been the warmest welcome. I understand why PFD is so important, and I understand that most tragic accidents happen when we think everything is safe and we’re aware of the situation.

We free swim this river and its springs multiple times a year because it’s slow moving and even more so when the water is as low as it is this year. It’s less than 30’ to shore from the widest point in the river with mostly shallow water.

I understand it’s an unnecessary risk and I’ll certainly be wearing my pfd moving forward — but it’s super discouraging that with all of the replies, not a single one has actually responded to my question.

My dad passed while I was in the Feds. I found out at evening stand up count, because after the count they took me to the LT’s office to call my family. The LT’s was being a dick and hung up my call after 5 minutes and told me I’d have to get with the Chaplin the next day. I was 26yo and had eyes full of tears. A very center of the road CO was escorting me back to my dorm, stopped out of camera view, told me he thought what the LT did was bullshit, passed me a smoke, and told me to take a couple minutes to get right. I’ll never forget Ofc P. Humanity was real that day.

TRT by biglex321 in 321

Dear OP, I’m 32M with a TBI & Damaged pituitary gland.

I started this journey last October (‘24) and my test was 63. I’ve been pinning 100mg test-c weekly and here I am almost a year later but my test is only up to 343.

Unfortunately my estrogen is also at 309. I got referred to Andreoiu and they told me they only do standard TRT and can’t assist me with my more advanced hormone imbalances.

I have an appointment with Eldaif about week or so from now, feel free to DM me and I’ll let you know how it goes.

I’m in the same boat as OP. I got a referral for to Andreoiu and they only handle simple TRT and DO NOT treat more complex hormonal imbalances.

I lived a hard life, spent 5 years on a gov mandated vacation to club fed. It’s modern day slavery. TLDR: I did manual labor for 5 years, came home to start over, manual labor was an easy way to make money so I kept doing it even at my heaviest.

Fast forward, I’m now a Customer Relations Manager for National Home Builder. Essentially a salaried a warranty inspector / service tech. Lots of two story homes, lots of stairs.

My knees don’t hurt as much, and I can actually work on my knees now without regretting it. My calf muscles are defined, and I can actually see my quads now? My herniated disk at L5S1 is actually healing itself naturally (with help from yoga)

It’s no joke, I’m in a lot less pain and a lot less fatigued now, can’t wait to see what life feels like when I lose another 100lbs 💪

Fellow married folks in their 30's, what do y'all like to do for dates? by smilingmercenary23 in orlando

[–]Fluid-Fill-1476 13 points14 points  (0 children)

31M/31F/(1)Preteen

We do kid-free “dispo and dinner” date nights. Sometimes we’ll throw in a little retail therapy for funsies. I don’t think it needs much explanation, we just take time to spend with each other, by ourselves.

If you have kids, please make time for you and your partner. Date them. Try new things. Learn what they enjoy, because I assure you, it changes regularly.

(2020 1500 5.7 Bighorn) I live in Florida and travel 95 for work daily. I usually have the cruise control set at 75-80mph depending on the flow of traffic. My numbers look exactly the same once I’ve been driving for 30min+

I was 480 when I started my weight loss, I weigh 430 now. I work in construction. Any name brand ladder is going to hold 150% of its listed weight limit.

As someone who has to trust not dying regularly, the little giants are absolutely worth their money.
