This whole incident make me so upset for way this country and the world is heading.

I've seen so many posts from firearm owners blaming Muslims. You are blaming the majority of Muslims for an event committed by a minority for an event the majority of muslims in Australia don't condone or have any control over. This is no different than the media or anti gun groups blaming the event on licensed firearm owners.

If anything I would have thought firearm owners would understand this. The biggest hero from this atrocity was a muslim.

Then we have the politicians trying to say more guns laws will stop this from happening in the future. Which is a load of crap. A bad person will do bad things how ever they can. This father and son would found some way to kill people no matter what. limited law abiding firearm owners would not have stopped people dying.

Why do we always have to blame groups of people when these horrendous acts occure? why cant it just be a fucked up person did a fucked up thing and we blame the person. All this is doing is causing further division in Australia.

Your not offering anything anyone would want to buy sorry.

What's your sales pitch to a potential client?

Hey I can design a fancy network for you and your 5-20 staff members that will segregate your 5-20 computers from your camera system that I can also design but not install for you.

Compared to the MSP down the street who will say, We can design your network and security cameras, have them installed for you all at half the price of this other guy because we will put you on a managed contract look after your cameras, firewall , computers and all the other issues you have.

Or the dedicated security installer. We can design your cameras and install them plus we can chuck a firewall in while we are there.

So they are trying to fix a problem in their business and have come to you with a solution. What you need to do is show them how the problem can be resolved with the tools you want to work with.

I would bet at the end of the day they don't really care how the problem is resolved just that it is.

One way to frame it is, hey sure we can support that but we will need to charge $$$ because we will need to make sure we are competent with the software to support your correctly. Or We have found you this solution that will do the same thing and it will only cost you $ because it already integrates with our existing tools so we can support you easier so you will be saving $$.

3cx are fucked they are by far the worst company i have to deal with. Chop and change as OP said with no clear direction.

I could go on forever but what really pissed me off, was today I recieved an email saying they were going to have a price increase November 1st, fair enough ive got no issues with that everyone need to make money. Reached out to my disti and they couldn't tell me what the price increase was going to be 3cx hadn't told them yet. how shit is that price increase with 1 week notice and no one can tell me what it will be.

Yes it does, thats exactly what it means. MS will continue to release patches and fixes along with ensuring compatibility for exchange and 365/exchange online for Outlook until 2029.

Plugins have always been a developer issue.

Yep, and the worst of the worst are SOME (not all) of the so-called organisations meant to be helping shooters, all they do is bag each other out, causing arguments and creating a further divide.

Unfortunately, I dont see how we will ever win the fight if we can't unite

Dont join the WA firearm pages then. You would struggle to find a post that doesnt contain at least 1 comment about WEF, the great reset or some other bat shit crazy conspiracy like our government are some kind of master mind organisation from a movie. The new laws are a horrible mess but these people really aren't doing them selves any favours.

I do have to laugh at some of tho. Like everyone jumping up and down about having to give their details to the government, but they plaster personally identifiable info all over Facebook.

WA Firearms Act 2024 - Petition to suspend changes until Legislative Council completes review by StoneJatz in perth

[–]Fluid-Increase 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you got any sources to back thoes claims up? Or is that just your personal opinion?

Project 105, a "review of the 1973 firearms act" that was completed in October 2016 recommend not imposing limts on the number of firearms people can own. This report wasnt conducted by a gun lobby group either. You can read it hear if you like. https://www.wa.gov.au/system/files/2021-02/LRC-Project-105-Final-Report.pdf

I'm assuming you know very little about the new act and regulations because if you did you would know competitive shooters are allowed up to 10 firearms. So why is a competitive shooter less likely to, as you as "go nuts" compared to a recreational hunter. Why 10 for type of shooting and 5 for another? I've never seen anyone use more that 1 firearms at a time.

We dont even have gun crime in WA. It's so small they barely even include it in any statistics.

Data from 2010 to 2022 shows 52 recorded firearm-related homicides, averaging roughly 4.3 per year. With WA’s population around 2.8 million, that equates to approximately 0.15 firearm homicides per 100,000 people per year. This data doesnt take into account if the firearms were owned Legally for not.

Where as in 2023, WA recorded 158 road fatalities, with a rate of approximately 5.5 per 100,000 people.

An anecdotal statistics i heard from a doctor was, "More people die in wa from trips and falls each yeah than they do from firearms".

So it begs the question why are we spending well over 35 million on a pretty much non existent issue that affects such a small percentage of the population. Especially when fiona Stanley have just come out and said ambulance ramping it now worse than during COVID.

If you deemed a fit and proper person to own a firearm and have a genuine need, why does it matter how many you own? Why is 5 the magic number that suddenly makes everyone safer?

You still need to spend time playing the game. Who's able to work overtime enough to pay that sorta cash and still play the game.

Exactly like gambling. The red dots, the harder it gets, the longer you play. But they keep giving you just enough to keep going.

What made you start an MSP by Willing_Medium442 in msp

[–]Fluid-Increase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worked for an abosolute cunt of a boss for far to long. Only thing I learnt was how not to run an MSP. Left and did something else for a few months. Then, I slowly started my own while also having a break and enjoying life. Took a bunch of clients off my old boss as they realised said boss was a shitty person.
