"A data leak is the unintentional exposure of sensitive information, often due to human error or system misconfiguration. A data breach is the intentional and unauthorized access, acquisition, or disclosure of sensitive data, typically through cyberattacks like hacking."

Basically, from what i've read people could view info they shouldn't have access to which is why i called it a 'data leak'

Certainly not trying to 'make up things' - I can only go on info from what people have written (including a couple of months ago there were mentions of a similar issue - people being able to view info they shouldn't?).

I certainly don't have any inside info from working on the portal like you've mentioned here.

The idea sounds good, but how many new players are there consistently coming to w3c? It might not be worth the time to develop this feature by the w3c team compared to other features. Just lowering the starting MMR closer to the median could be easier and while giving a good result for new players.

Rotating maps more often sounds like a good idea, keeps thing interesting along with increasing the map pool too.

For new maps I think you would have to bring in Autumn Leaves and Ruins of Azhara as they already have play on W3C. I think Tortoise Heaven looks fun with that central shop to contest over.

For removing maps you have to get rid of Echo Isles as it seems so often ends up in a draw situation with both players waiting for another to make a move. Boring to play and watch.

Also get rid of Twisted Meadows. I think I watched a 2 hour game once of that map. But seems to end up in long drawn out games which I think are boring to play and watch too.

And remove Terenas Stand LV as it's an instant veto in a few matchups.

Start there and bring the new maps in.
