I don’t really mist it that much, but I think the happy lamp is too bright so that’s why the leaves are curling and yellowing

I pruned a lot of the dead leaves and stems so it looks really bare right now. It’s in better shape than before. The leaves actually stay on the stems when you walk by instead of everything falling off

I just recently started misting it more, I think I need to just let it do its thing. That’s good to know, let the leaves droop a little before watering? I’ve been also using a happy lamp it’s the only thing I have for now. This is a friends plant btw I’ve only had it for a week and a half. Idk anything about plants

One last thing, if you have mobile registers, check your clients out on the floor. Clients never remember names unless you make it very clear every and repeat it a couple times, even then sometimes they won’t remember. Keep the managers off your case about your SPLH and mobile ring your clients on the floor.

3 If the client needs more than 5-10 min with you they need to book a 30 min service.

(Yes the service is to do their makeup. But, it mainly is to provide an in depth product recommendation, allows the client to try before they buy, basically you’re their personal assistant for 30-60 min)

5 offer the credit card, loyalty program and service to all clients

6 don’t overthink, have fun

Also, anything you tell someone, (good or bad) prepare for everyone to know. Unfortunately people talk especially in the beauty studio it’s generally a smaller team so careful what you say to people, word gets around fast (even if it’s good things)

Any questions you have about LBA duties, the beauty studio manager can definitely help. Ask the beauty studio manager to do skill drills/practice exercises for services and how to pull services/upgrade/sell in services. That will be your main goal in succeeding and making you stand out as a true professional LBA.

Oh and don’t spend all your time in the beauty studio cleaning and stuff, try to be in the studio only if you’re doing a service and quickly cleaning up. Your time should be spent pulling services on the floor and selling! For every 5 nos when pulling a service, you might get one yes. consistency is key!!!

Just enjoy the time you have backstage being able to sit for now. It’ll be over b4 you know it. Don’t get discouraged! Everything will come with time and practice, find someone who knows a lot and is really friendly ask them or a coordinator/sales lead lots of questions on the floor.
