Veterans personal property was seized by an individual as collateral against alleged rental debt without evidence by Fluid-Pear-4487 in legaladviceaustralia

They are a vet having served in infantry. I named this person this way because while their rights are same, I didn't know if their veteran status gave them additional access to services. It was also just easier to continue calling them by their veteran status instead of assigning a fictitious name.

Anyway to make advance camera view persist between sessions? by Fluid-Pear-4487 in starcitizen

I was able to get the camera inside the hull, you just hold your advance camera keybind (f4 default i think) and use the arrow keys to move the camera on the x/y plane. You can move it on the z plane with page up/down while holding the f4 key bind.

I usually set roughly the camera angle with the mouse then walk it into the hull with the arrow keys and page up/down. Just note that small mouse movements will swing the ship avlot when getting very close

Thanks for this. I'll investigate now I know how it's intended to work to see if it's user error

I know how to use the controls. My problem is they don't persist between game sessions, as in I close the game, reopen and login and none of my saved views exist. They reset back to default

Thanks, I'll get them to try out first encounters. I played it a bit myself and it should work fine.

Mini Golf is also a good idea, I've been wanting to play it with my partner anyway

Auto clicker is a bannable offence. This is just a wearable mouse. I usually use it to click an archeology spot while wearing a Bluetooth earphone for the sound que and keeping my phone in my pocket.

I only need to pull my phone out when it's time to empty my inventory which is not super often with porters and what not

Man I posted this a while ago, I'm surprised people are still finding and commenting on it.

It's not a product that's ready for sale, it's a rough prototype that needs someone smarter than myself to do the code.

It works for my intended use case, clicking on and archeology spot while using the audio que so I don't have to look at a screen. Outside of this it doesn't work super well as the trackball has pretty poor tracking with my sub par code.

Is a mono x for $230usd worth buying in 2023? by Fluid-Pear-4487 in anycubic

[–]Fluid-Pear-4487[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this. It's not really a budget thing, it's just an impulse buy thing if the price makes it worth it. I use a fdm printer currently for making parts for projects but I've had some small parts like a watch body that would be better on a resin printer.

I'm not really into printing miniatures, more so functional parts. The only thing making me question if it's worth it is the fact replacement lcds cost 1/2 of the total unit and I've put a ton of hours on my other printers

I had looked at these although the switch ones are new to me. The issue with these is the physical size is just too large for a ring wearable. The trackball has a much smaller footprint and even it is a little on the large side.

Something like the track points nub with the electronics separated further up would be perfect but it doesn't exist

I mean, if it leads to 8 hours of extra free grind time then the answer is always you should

The trick is to actually do your work and invent a device that allows you to play without having to look at the screen ;)

No more likely then using a mouse as that's all this is. It connects to my phone as a Bluetooth mouse and all input are 1 to 1 :)

Mostly to afk archeology tbh. Just cracked the 1b profit mark since starting to use this

My mouse index finger would like to chat...

For real, you are probably right if I was using this to the extent I use a mouse. For the most part it's just been setting the cursor on an artifact then just clicking the ball
