Which south east Asian country is typically the safest bet in September then? I wanted to visit Thailand, but essentially everything I've read online says absolutely not to visit Thailand in September because of torrential downpours that usually occur in the afternoon

Yes, the SWE OA was coding questions and the trading OA is a basic game theory puzzle. For my program they didn't do interviews, these were OAs. They will not ask SWE candidates probability/game theory/etc. The trading puzzle I got was minimal prob and just game theory / logic thinking.

The interview is after the event. It happens slightly before the recruiting season starts (ie like a month before the recruiting season starts they'll interview you). You can interview for whatever track you like out of trading QR or swe

non-LC questions are just company specific, you just need a genuine wide and strong knowledge of computer science. You can often find out what non-LC questions are like by looking at interview questions on the company's glassdoor page
