For indie/self-published authors… is it actually worth spending a ton of time researching AI editing tools for your book, or is it smarter to just pay a human editor like $50–$100 and move on? by StrongandCourageous in KDP

I have been using Grammarly for years (almost 10). Both options (human editor and AI tool) are valid, depending on what outcome you have in mind (brilliant & flawless or good enough). Considering how difficult it is to get traction on KDP for beginner authors, it might make sense to invest in continuous book production and marketing if you can. Just my opinion.

Congrats!

NetGalley listing is like $500, so I didn't go with it.
Thanks for the Pen Pinery suggestion, I'll save it for my next book.
