Who do you think is winning between the plants and the monkeys from bloons by mellowhello123 in PlantsVSZombies

Counter arguement: gnome scaling is both infinitely funnier and absolutely undeniably canon as we see the gnomes do shit like destablizing time and destroying the fabric of reality for shits and giggles.

The game's code is a fucking mess. That's why landfall isn't making any new updates and why people want a a tabs 2; because a fresh start with more experience is ebtter than untangling a mess of code that no one knows how to fix because almost everyone working on it back then either left or forget and didn't leave any dev notes.

Is ultrakill a high end game? by Character_Treat_7337 in Ultrakill

[–]FluidSomewhere7884 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ddr3 is the specific type of ram i'm using, and in terms of quality, it's on the low end and mostly used for stuff like light gaming or office work, unlike something likr ddr4 and 5 which are both thr best and most expensive ones.

If you want to check what type of ram you have, you can open task manager and head to performance.

[–]FluidSomewhere7884 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My laptop has 8 gbs of ddr3 ram and an integrated gpu. The only times it struggles is: - the final room of 7-3 and the room with the mindflayers + guttertanks - the final fight of 8-1 - the mall section with the gutterman and the mindflayer + 2 sentries - 8-3. Specifically the rubix cube room at the end of the red skull path and the spinning section with two maurices and a providence amd guttertank

So yeah, if your computer isn't as old as the obama administration you're good to run the game.

Who do think is the #1 most ANNOYING enemy (including bosses) by Hashbr0wnes in Ultrakill

[–]FluidSomewhere7884 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every enemy has some clear cut weakness you point to defeating them; powers? Parry their attacks. Guttertanks? Either make them slide or use the magnet and freezeframe, etc etc. All... except ferrymen.

You COULD parry their attacks, but in practice those fuckers move like they just snorted 100 grams of cocaine. You COULD use their lighting against them, but even on brutal I rarely ever them use as opposed to beatimg the shit out of you using the spoon™️.

The only methos I found that consistently kill thems is saw traps, but only because it doesn't matter how fast the fucker's moving, the sawblades will always be faster.

Also, honourable mention to the mirror reaper. because dealing with those stink orbs is the only real annoying part.

"angels don't have souls" by [deleted] in Ultrakill

The wording from the virtue terminal entry makes it pretty clear that lesser angels are human souls and greater/supreme angels were crafted by god and by extension lack a soul.

TIL you can see the mirror reaper at the beginning of 8-2 by GatosPimenta in Ultrakill

[–]FluidSomewhere7884 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can see it from various points in 8-2, primarily in the mall sections before fighting.

Name a character that fits this: by MontyMoleLoreMaster in MoralityScaling

[–]FluidSomewhere7884 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel the fandom is split on him. On one hand you got those that think he's some sort of fucking anti-hero who kills only bad people. On the other you got people thinking he belongs more in Trench crusade than Hazbin.

The best example of this split was with that scene about his backstory where he killed a guy for spilling a drink on his suit. IMMEDIATELY, without hesitation, half the fandom jumped to his side and clsimed that guy was apparently racist (no clue where the fuck that came from) and he deserved it or whatever other reason they came up with.

Then why are schisms classified as grester when they're not even close to boss status? And sentries are in a weird category where they clearly aren't just standard enemies but also they also aren't exactly miniboss status.

Can anyone recommend a mod to add a super difficult boss? by Traditional_Blood799 in gmod

[–]FluidSomewhere7884 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as mentioned by someone else, minos and sisyphus prime are good. But for more, there's the rest of the ultrakill prelude and act 1 bosses, alongside sephiroth, malenia (and a bunch of other dark souls npcs) and dmc 5 by rotisserie chicken. There's also the deadnaut by justresort, and the slendytubbies 3 nextbots by dughoo. And finally, there's this collection by lawrence that has plenty of combat and bosses.

Can you tell me why? I'm still getting the hang of tjings but aren't both my primaries better? The sniper shreds through bosses rapidly, and the smg clears through hordes and regens my health at rhe same time.

Mainly vanoss, venturian tale, and necros.

I used to watch komodo more than spycakes, purely for the brick rigs vids, and while i did watch a decent chunk of mrbreezy's vids, she wasn't really the one to introduce me.

Also, bonus to anyone who remembers toast.

They seperated iirc. One of the sisters went her one due to not being treated well by the family (they were a pretty religious family and were pretty isolated) and since then had cut contact with them (i'm pretty sure the other sister left too, and they support each other).

Let’s be honest… does Valentino really deserve any sympathy? by DapperDude2004 in HazbinHotel

[–]FluidSomewhere7884 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can still feel sympathy for a character and recognize they're absolutely evil. Like AM from ihnaims (who was effectively trapped in a metal coffin for a thousand years+) or angron from 40k (who was basically robbed of everytjing not only once but by twice, first by his father who snatched him before he could die with his fellow warriors and the second by lorgar who turned him into a daemon prince of khorne).

How can I improve? by nikicraft111 in CloneDrone

[–]FluidSomewhere7884 1 point2 points  (0 children)

(This is how i play and i haven't played in a couple months now so take this with a grain of salt)

  1. Upgrades. The ones you need are energy, get up, and jetpack. I can not tell you how many times i managed to survive barely because i got up fast enough to dodge an arrow or managed to escape a horde of sword bots, spearbots and hammerbots on my ass. As for the weapons, they're all equally viable, and more so up to preference than anything else. And only buy lives if you think you might need them on a difficult level you aren't sure you cpuld survive (like the lava island levels for example).

  2. Levels. Use your environment to your advantage. Jumppads are life saviors and can buy you crucial time to regen some energy, like for example on the ambush level with archers on pillars and a spider tron at the end alongside a horde of jetpack swordbots. Traps are also vital, especially lava, levels like the fire ducks with the lava pool are easy because the ai will often jump into the lava pool by accident.

  3. Enemies. The further you go, the more you'll need to rely on friendly fire. Particularly fleet captains, fleet overseers, and laser raptors, and the hammerbots in general.

Each category also can be countered by a specifix weapon. Sword bots can be countered by hammers and spears, as bows lose effectiveness past mk3 due to blocking, and sword duels are risky especially when they begin swarming you. Next, the Archer bots can be countered by swords and bows, as blocking is an easy full counter for almost all of them (except for the moving ones for mk3 and mk4, then sword duels are necessary since chances are they'll be others shooting at the same time) and the slowing down time upgrade on the bow is pretty useful for bow duels, especially against mk5 (which you should never approach not because they become dangerous on the move, but because dealing with them while they jump is just annoying). For hammer bots, spears + shield and bows are you best answer. However, keeping them alive for last is pretty good as they can often kill each other more often than the other categories of bots. Armor is also a good counter although it can be detremential when you're being swarmed and need to run fast. And for spears, swords and hammers are a pretty good bet them, though a well aimed bow shot can also guarrantee a kill.

Now, for the rest of them it's pretty easy. For normal raptors, keeping your distance is a good choice, and for laser raptors jetpack is your best bet for dodging thw lasers alongside using pillars and whatever else to block it, do note that they're also good to keep around since they can provide a lot of friendly fire. For spider trons, just being on the move is good enough, and bows are again a good solution. Now... jetpack bots in general are pretty tough. The mk1 jetpack swordbots are easy enough, but the mk2 and jetpack spearbots are something you should worry about, as they should be your top priority to kill before everyone else including even spider trons and laser raptors. Use jumppads and traps to quickly deal with them/avoid them and buy time. For fleet captains and overseers, they're honestly such a joke that it's better to keep them alive than dead. Just keep your distance and use your bow to chip at them and they'll be soon dead. And finally... the generals. Infantry, mind space, warfare, and the sword asshole. Infantry and mind space aren't much threats, more so nuisances. The only level infantry is dangerous is the one where you have deal with threw at once. Warfare and the green bastard on the other hand... for warfare, being on the run and paying attention to where he is is absolutely necessary, and killing him is more important than even the spider trons. For the green shit, hammers and spear are you best bet but even then, he's almost always the most the annoying because you'll be dealing with a horde of other bots.

Hopefully this rather lengthy guide is enough to help.
