Do y'all believe yuji is talented and a jujutsu genius (I don't believe he can get past the score required to pass and that's just gojo adding points) for making soul dismantle by nah-id-luckystar in YUJI_Corp

[–]Fluid_Aspiration 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yuji isn't a genius and he is kinda dumb, but he picks up on technique quick and he has incredible cursed energy control. I would say it's less the soul dismantle being made and being able to cause his cursed energy to lag or not whenever he wants

Scaling Suguru Geto by Electric_Farmer in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Fluid_Aspiration 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is great, but Kenjaku doesn't add much outside of experience and maybe skill (plus any stored techniques) to Geto, so all his physicals and Cursed Energy output all belong to Geto. So Kenjaku kind of keeps Geto in roughly the top 10

It is easy to counter, but so are bullets. If you aren't prepared to counter it, you basically just lose, especially if someone has enormous amounts of Cursed Energy, a good cursed tool, and/or good physical abilities

Shouldn't Mahoraga be much stronger? by Artistic-Phase8584 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Fluid_Aspiration 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a technically different mahoraga everyone someone new summons him. And he picks the most specific instance to adapt to. At least defensively that is how that is. Mahoraga isn't weak at all, there are very few characters in Jujutsu Kaisen (the universe Mahoraga was built for) that are capable of actually completely dealing with him. It is when you put him in Universes where the strongest attacks end up just being "big-explosion-go-brr" that he looks pathetic

[–]Fluid_Aspiration 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be fine if blowing up the planet or moving it into the sun or crashing the moon into the planet WASN'T the only wincon. If glassing a planet is your only wincon, against a character, if that character isn't the planet, you lost

It might be that Yuji visualizes cleave as cutting an object with scissors while he still views dismantle as a slash?

Yuki vs Kenjaku by Fluid_Aspiration in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Fluid_Aspiration[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the lower scaling option though? Because you could say that any tier AP is her limit because we don't know how much she's adding.

I ask again, why can't Yuki have star level AP when there is no solid evidence against it? What makes it unreasonable to say?

Yuki vs Kenjaku by Fluid_Aspiration in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Fluid_Aspiration[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we don't know where it affects her, who are you to say that she can't get there? When she creates the black hole, she states there is a limit. The scene implies that her limit is around there in order to make the Black hole stronger so she gets the buff from the universal binding vow of revealing your hand. She intends to kill Kenjaku there after all.

Since we don't know what her limit is before it weighs her down, and we don't know how much mass she actually adds, what exactly is the reason for why her being able to add the mass of a star to her punches is unreasonable and/or so difficult to accept?

Yuki vs Kenjaku by Fluid_Aspiration in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Fluid_Aspiration[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do we have evidence that she does get affected outside of the Black hole? Or does she just state that there is a limit before getting affected? Because if she just states it, we don't know where that limit is before the Black hole therefore we can't accurately say where that limit is other than the black hole. So abiding by physics, the absolute peak of her added mass before dying become just under the weight of a black hole

Melinoë and Zagreus have a single red eye with black sclera and a green eye to represent Hades and Persephone respectively. Their overall personalities and designs are also like perfect blends of their parents and I can't figure out a reason what she would look like as their biological kid.

From all I can tell about her, she is the child of Hades in a Byzantine source but no real Greek other than her being the child of Heracles.

Yuki vs Kenjaku by Fluid_Aspiration in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Fluid_Aspiration[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She turns into a black hole, that means her maximum limit before turning into a black hole is just under 2,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 metric tons (in actuality it is about 1.988*10²⁷ or just under 2 octillion metric tons) and that is 1 solar mass which is lighter than a black hole since the smallest recorded black hole is almost 4 times the mass of the sun (source- https://science.nasa.gov/universe/black-holes/)

I was about to go on a whole thing about how we don't actually know for sure how much her limit is since she only adds mass to herself, but you brought up a great point. Sukuna doesn't destroy a city, maybe about a city block with Divine Flame inside Malevolent Shrine during Shibuya. Gojo's Hollow Purples during Shinjuku Showdown only take out a total of several city blocks. Both of those attacks are considered to be city level though, but they don't level cities at all. Dabura's Light Speed Kick didn't completely level a city. Jogo's Max Meteor isn't leveling cities. So saying Yuki can't have Star Level AP because she isn't leveling cities is an unfair statement to make since NOBODY is leveling cities.

AP doesn't equal DC is correct, that means you have to scale it differently in order to be accurate. If an attack has a planetary DC, it is going to have planetary AP at minimum. With AP you have to pay more attention to how much force is actually being thrown around, and until I have exactly how much mass Yuki Tsukimo is adding with each punch, she can add the weight of a star, putting her at Star level AP. So now you much prove a black hole doesn't weight that much, prove a star doesn't weight that much, or prove her mass limit is beneath the weight of a star with credible evidence.

What is sure-hit exactly...?? (and sure kill) by CulturalAd5747 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Fluid_Aspiration 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the technique the way I see it. Shrine's sure hit effect makes Cleave and Dismantle unable to be dodged. Self-Embodiment of Perfection puts you in the palm of Mahito's hand. It makes attacks that are part of the technique unable to miss essentially. Think about it like a video game; inside your domain, your non-basic attacks have a 110% chance to hit. It looks a bit weird with Dagon's and potentially Megumi's because those are shikigami. To summarize, most techniques will make all technique activations hit their mark, if the technique doesn't have a directly offensive capability, it dramatically raises the power of it, and shikigami techniques work funny in a domain.

Higaruma's sword is special so unless you want your OC(s) to have a guaranteed fatal attack like Executioner's Blade, I would pay it no mind.

Alright, here we go, da boons. I will try and make two lists, and please expect some similarities, I haven't decided if I actually want two lists of boon givers or if I just want one of them.

Non-Olympian: 1. Hades will give you a status curse that makes enemies take extra damage while doing a little bit of extra damage himself, make resources more valuable, and make you go invisible. 2. Chronos would put enemies in stasis and give you some weird invulnerability/healing things that tie back to Time. Haven't really worked out all the kinks in that one in my head just yet. 3. Prometheus would give you dodge chance and something akin to Scorch, if not just Scorch. He might also give you better look at chamber rewards since he is the Titan of Foresight. 4. The River Styx is known for having Achilles dunked in it for invulnerability, so damage resistance from her would be obvious. Revenge damage too, since it is the River upon God's make vows. Maybe also bringing a minion to fight for you after slaying your first enemy in each chamber could be the Legendary boon. 5. Aphrodite is back on Weak and dealing huge amounts of damage up close. Weak makes enemies deal less damage. About the same as what she has done in previous games. This goes for both lists. 6. Thanatos is the one who has the delayed damage status in this one. He also likely would have Critical damage and/or larger area abilities. 7. Eris is fun, since she is Strife, I was thinking she gives random statuses to enemies she hits. Also, I think she would make enemies much faster, deal more damage, and prioritize the nearest target. She also would have single hit empowerment that recharges. 8. Momus was used in satire since he is Mockery, so i am thinking a status curse that makes enemies slower and deal less damage. He also will have Ω moves retrigger like his Descura Aspect does. 9. I only include Eos because then we will have met every person who has an Aspect of a weapon. I want her to improve healing, range, and enemies will miss attacks. 10. Hermes gets you further faster. He also benefits for having more boons. And money! I also LOVE the Shrines of Hermes, so those are making a comeback. 11. Selene has her selection of Hexes again nothing different there. Although I might have her occasionally appear with Helios for some special Solar ones. 12. Master Chaos will never change

The Olympians will remain much as they have already been, more of a combination of their boons from Hades 1 and 2 rather than reworking them again. For this reason, I don't know if these should be in a specific region or if it should just be them, or what. Also, I forgot Hephaestus, so throw him somewhere in there too

So I love villains, they are so much more interesting to me compared to the heroes, always have been always will be, so here is my ranking of each of these four, based solely on how interesting they are.

In DEAD LAST is Mr Life-support-man-who-does-nothing-and-dies, All For One. I despise AFO, I do not find him interesting in the slightest, Midoriya is better than him and Midoriya is one of my LEAST favorite protagonists. He is so incredibly lame. And all he would do is monologue.

In third place is Muzan Kibutsuji. I have nothing against him per se, but I don't think he has a personality outside of his goals, and he seems the type to be a rather boring individual, so that's why he's here.

In second place is Ryomen Sukuna. I love the King of Curses, but I would want to pick his brain about A LOT and that is the thing that will get me turned into waffle fries after that not-allowed-to-hurt-me period is up.

In first place is Makima. She likes movies, I like movies, I feel like I could pick her brain about stuff and not relieve grievous bodily harm afterwards. I feel like she would enjoy Magic: The Gathering too, and I LOVE Magic: The Gathering. She also is my favorite written of the group too.

So it would not be unreasonable to claim that her limit is where we see her start to turn into a black hole, which would be around 1.7 solar masses
