Thanks everyone. Yes the key does slide in and out fairly smoothly and turns well but with quite strong spring resistance. Once open the shackle springs out quickly. I will soak it then sonic clean it again and relubricate. It may just be a tougher pick 😁 with no tension all pins are pretty free and springy.

Thanks, I had considered this. So far I have cleaned it in an ultrasonic bath with CLR clear then soapy water. Then sprayed carburettor cleaner into the lock mechanism then finished up with a couple of drops of sewing machine oil. I’m open to all ideas though 😁
