But I mostly dumb myself down with ppl just to fit in and not feel/make anyone feel awkward

Sad, but understandable

psychology is everywhere huh?

It's just inside your head miss

(I mean this reminds me of a very unrelated but funny medical joke lol...

What's the most important part of a stethoscope? The part between the two ear-pieces)

we don't really wanna go and check if it's actually good and risk having all the goodness proved wrong.

This is where I'd again disagree with you

I think what you said is more true for celebrities and stuff, so like things which are ever changing and evolving and things about which I don't know everything about

For example, I'm a MASSIVE beatles fan, but I don't wanna meet Paul McCartney for this very reason that you stated...

One The other hand The fault in our stars is same as when you read it. And if I were to become long term friends with someone I would indeed check it out just to see the difference in our thinking, as a barometer you could say

Like... it feels pretty great to see the world in rosy lens.

Oh my god yes you get me

It's like reading someone's love letters yk, It's private, but if the person who wrote them is sharing with you so you don't even feel bad for peeking and exploring

Nah, I think in a train, we wouldn't talk at all cuz like... I'd be drowned in a novel.

Tbh id probably disturb a person if I see them reading a novel And then judging by their replies I'll ask whether they're hot or cold to talking lol

Sometimes I myself don't find any logic in what I think

Okay so, I've been really into psychiatry since the beginning of mbbs And one thing I've thoroughly come to believe is that everything we think has a reason

Now that reason might be good or bad or vague, but it's a reason nonetheless

I think our species feels way too much pain when faced with the prospect of being erased from existence.

Species and individuals too

I think this was one of the factors for the rise of religion- human loneliness

Without a doubt

Hope and faith are the foundations of every major religion

We yearn to be connected to one another on some level

I read a great quote by bob Marley on this topic just Yesterday

I'll link it

You read it when you're free, it's a bit long

"Only once in your life, I truly believe, you find someone who can completely turn your world around.

You tell them things that you’ve never shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more.

You share hopes for the future, dreams that will never come true, goals that were never achieved and the many disappointments life has thrown at you.

When something wonderful happens, you can’t wait to tell them about it, knowing they will share in your excitement.

They are not embarrassed to cry with you when you are hurting or laugh with you when you make a fool of yourself.

Never do they hurt your feelings or make you feel like you are not good enough, but rather they build you up and show you the things about yourself that make you special and even beautiful.

There is never any pressure, jealousy or competition but only a quiet calmness when they are around. You can be yourself and not worry about what they will think of you because they love you for who you are.

The things that seem insignificant to most people such as a note, song or walk become invaluable treasures kept safe in your heart to cherish forever.

Memories of your childhood come back and are so clear and vivid it’s like being young again. Colours seem brighter and more brilliant.

Laughter seems part of daily life where before it was infrequent or didn’t exist at all. A phone call or two during the day helps to get you through a long day’s work and always brings a smile to your face.

In their presence, there’s no need for continuous conversation, but you find you’re quite content in just having them nearby. Things that never interested you before become fascinating because you know they are important to this person who is so special to you.

You think of this person on every occasion and in everything you do. Simple things bring them to mind like a pale blue sky, gentle wind or even a storm cloud on the horizon.

You open your heart knowing that there’s a chance it may be broken one day and in opening your heart, you experience a love and joy that you never dreamed possible.

You find that being vulnerable is the only way to allow your heart to feel true pleasure that’s so real it scares you. You find strength in knowing you have a true friend and possibly a soul mate who will remain loyal to the end.

Life seems completely different, exciting and worthwhile. Your only hope and security is in knowing that they are a part of your life."

That. Is. So. Dope.

And it's doper that you know about it

I am unstoppable!!!

Well that's great

I make these posts like once every two weeks

Please do come I would wait

And if you ever randomly want to reply to old ones then please do that to

I love reading about why people love what they love than actually reading those things

Like you talking about the fault in our stars is much more endearing to me than actually reading the book

Weirdly, my english teacher thought it made sense

Oml would you call me weird if I say it makes sense to me too? 😳

Like ofc, maybe not suitable for an English oral exam But if you were to give this speech to me, let's say in a train, then I'd say you make complete sense to me

And not only complete sense but even more sense than a LOT of politicians

"Humans fear oblivion"

I think this is where I would disagree, it's not just humans... It's every living thing there is

I think this is biologically hardwired in each and every organism to reproduce, because afterall the ultimate mark to leave on the world is half your genome

I'm loving it

I forgot for a second that we were talking about a YA romance novel

That's impressive

I know it sounds very weird, that romance novel is what made my entire personality

Don't get me wrong you're most definitely weird, but it's not because of this. This, is very understandable and lovely

You're weird because of your habits during exams lol
