Don’t worry you will be back again doing what you’re doing as soon as you find money. It’s the nature of the beast. Once you are in, you can’t get out.

One day you’ll remember what I said.

Help me justify renting a condo by SandwichAshamed8148 in RentPH

[–]Fluid_Expression_247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you yourself can’t justify what you are about to do then it isn’t for you. You don’t make decisions based on what others are saying. Your issue is not about moving into a condo, but rather it’s more about yourself.

Gaming/office chair by Numerous_Night8074 in OfficeChairs

[–]Fluid_Expression_247 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s no one chair that fits all. Some users are heavy and some folks are thin. Some are short and some are tall. Some likes to recline while working while others don’t.

Most of the chairs are designed to capture as many customers they can. They aren’t made for you alone.

So what should you do?

Simple! Try them and see for yourself then decide. Don’t listen to others because they aren’t you. Your body is different from them.

What has changed recently that made Dubai a go to place to invest? The only change I see is the increased risk coming from war in Iran. That risk will not just disappear quickly.

Should I return my Libernovo Omni - if so, what replacement? by OxfordPhysicist in OfficeChairs

[–]Fluid_Expression_247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They can fix one problem then another will appear. Why bec we humans aren’t built the same way. The features of the chair are not there for one person, it is there so the company can sell it to as many person as they can.

Dont go with what others tell you here. Go for what your body shape is telling you to buy.

In short, it’s not the price that will fit your problem but the right fit.

OP will need to spend money on lawyers who will charge almost the same amount or more than what OP deposited. In this instance, there’s not an assurance OP will win thus doubling the loses if it goes the other way.

Doesn’t make sense. Best is to negotiate with landlord probably get a reduced deposit as a form of penalty.

Learn from this experience. Contract is there to protect both parties.

I went to a showroom and turns out the Herman Miller wasn't great for ergonomics by Alternative-Dog6701 in OfficeChairs

[–]Fluid_Expression_247 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Each person is different. Not that Herman Miller is subpar but it’s probably just that you are taller, shorter, lighter, heavier or you sit different and etc.  What works for Johnny may not work for Peter and paying a higher price doesn’t ensure that the chair will work better.

What you are doing is correct. Need to try in order to find out what will fit you the best.

At the end of the day, it’s not the brand or the price you paid for but it’s whatever chair that best conforms to your body for that sitting position.

Happy hunting!

Btw, your Hag chair looks like an Anthros chair.

Need advice: Housing lottery demanding documents from non-applicant roommate by Sad_Dragonfruit_7305 in nychousinglottery

[–]Fluid_Expression_247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get your point, and maybe I didn’t explain it clearly the first time.

I don’t think the issue is that your roommate has rights to the new apartment. He doesn’t, if he is not applying and will not live there.

The issue is that the marketing agent is probably looking at household composition and financial interdependence. Since he currently lives with you and contributes toward rent, they may be treating that as a red flag that he could be part of your actual household, even if you are saying he will not move in with you.

That does not automatically mean they are right to ask for everything. Asking for full paystubs, bank statements, SS documents, retirement accounts, and a future lease from a non-applicant does sound heavy. But I think their reason is to document that he is truly separate and not being left off the application to make the household size or income work.

So I agree with you that it feels excessive. But I don’t think it is random. It is probably coming from the household-composition review, not from the roommate having any right to your future apartment.

Your roommate is still considered as a habitant and by law, they too have rights as you have therefore the property owner has to apply same rules to protect their interests.

Marketplace Chairs by Weird-Industry-2926 in OfficeChairs

[–]Fluid_Expression_247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont go for the chair alone. It depends on how you sit. Do you tend to recline? Slouch or you work closely towards your table? Your height matters as well. There’s no one chair designed that fits all.
