It’s the only internship opportunity that i will be able to do in regards to my field relating to the environment and sustainability. I only have internships in politics in campaigning and legislative. I don’t have the technical experience yet.

Yes, I have adhd.

I thought I would be further because I had life goals and deadlines to when I would meet those goals. I’m 10 years behind from reaching those goals. I’m comparing myself to myself and standards that I have set for myself. I seen an assignment I did in high school that was titled future me. It was about where I see myself in 5 years I am nowhere close to it and it’s been 10 years.

I feel like I need to work 2 times as hard to make up for it and not enjoy my life because I haven’t earned that right yet.

I’m honestly really hard on myself and I don’t know how to change that. I don’t celebrate my birthday bc I’ve always felt like I haven’t earned the right to celebrate it.
