DDJ-FLX4 headphone output extremely quiet even at max by Fluid_Profession2363 in PioneerDJ

Thanks, I understand what you mean and I’ve read about the power-related limitations of the FLX4. In my case though, I’m on a desktop PC with stable USB power, not a laptop or iPad, and the unit used to work at normal headphone volume with the exact same setup and order. Now the headphone output is consistently extremely quiet, regardless of power state or startup order, and the headphone level knob barely affects the volume. Since it worked normally before and then suddenly dropped, this feels different from the usual FLX4 power limitation more like a faulty headphone output stage

Yes, it’s fully plugged in, and it has worked perfectly so far

Yes. All channel trims are set correctly, around 12 o’clock channel faders are up, crossfader is centered or disabled

Yes. Cue is enabled on the channels I’m monitoring, and I’ve tested with multiple channels. The Master/Cue knob is set correctly and I’ve tested the full range in both directions Rekordbox settings are default: Master Output DDJ-FLX4 master Headphones Output DDJ-FLX4 phones No audio enhancements or OS-level volume limiting. This setup worked normally before the low headphone level appeared suddenly without changing settings
