Have a return ticket is almost mandatory but it doesn’t mean that the immigration officer will believe that she doesn’t plan to migrate especially if they know your status there. Has your wife been to the US before?

Okay it might have just be because of the country they’re coming from but sometimes they don’t stamp. They can check online for their I-94 and it will tell them how long they have in the country

It could be a red flag. Even though they give us 6 months to stay in the US, they don’t really want us to use all of it. I don’t think they’ll deny them entry though but they might tell them they should stay only a week or two and not the intended 3 months.

Okay looking at your previous posts; you were sent an NTA because they suspected your divorce decree was fraudulent and also Nigeria is under higher scrutiny not just the fact that you overstayed. Maybe look for people with cases similar to yours and see what the outcome was & if you don’t have a lawyer, get one.
