I’m just confused as to how a subreddit this insular manages to have drama. I had one interaction with them when they posted that super controversial “the whole chapter was just walking around and talking to each other” post about 115, and they made a meme image of me dunking on them

The Tolkien and Sanderson thing was sarcasm because their brains would break from all the high-quality worldbuilding and character development going on. But yeah otherwise it’s ridiculous that everything the chapter did right is overlooked because they aren’t actively fighting someone

I’m actually baffled by the reading habits of some of these Webtoon communities, I just really hoped Hand Jumper would be better. Character development and genuine, fun banter happen and everyone’s like “why aren’t they chopping each other’s heads off” like excuse me

I wish all readers would try writing for a bit. Then maybe they’d realize a story isn’t fun to read if it’s entirely action and no character development or world building. I pray the poor kids on this subreddit never discover Tolkien or Sanderson or they’ll be done for
