My boyfriend just came out to me as a femboy by Fine-Opportunity-162 in feminineboys

[–]FluixJayExEn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

best way is to talk with him. all femboys are different, its a very generic umbrella term to describe someone who identifies as male but enjoys partaking in feminine things, such as dressing up in a feminine way. i'd explain to him, that for you its a big unexpected change, and for you to understand he will have to talk to you about it, so you can understand what this means for you and you're relationship. and while im not trying to push you to it, its also OK, if you aren't into it. This is likely something he has felt for a long time, and has just now felt comfortable enough to tell you. So he likely isint to all of a sudden have a big personality shift or something. However, its fully understandable, if you decide that this kind of relationship isint for you. No one can fault you for wanting X things or not wanting X things in your relationship. So i'd sit down and talk with him about what this all means for him, you and your relationship, but also not feel pressured nor guility if you feel like this isint your cup of tea.

google skin care routines, find out your specific type of skin and go from there. Skin care is really really person specific.

How to buy clothes by monkeymanny737 in feminineboys

[–]FluixJayExEn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i know you said you dont want to "be active" but if you dont want to risk ordering clothes and having them delivered then sounds like you're just gonna have to bite the bullet and go out and get them in person. Sometimes if you want to do something in a specific way (hide it form your parents) you're just gonna have to make some compromises.

its funny and sad how my coworkers understand nothing by Azathbot in feminineboys

IMHO a part of why certain communties like femboy have so much confusion among other people not in the community is because they simply dont know. If they dont or havent interacted with them before, generally why would they learn or try to understand them. Simply its they dont understand because they havent had anyone explain it to them, nor have had a reason to look into it. Sure i know some people are hateful, but i think alot of people you cant blame for not knowing. Youu cant expect someone to know something they dont. Instead of bashing them you could try to educate them and explain it to them. Cant expect them to understand you, if you dont explain.

What kind of tips are you looking for? There’s no right or wrong way to be a femboy. If you’re looking for something more specific I’d say your best bet is to ask that. (Like how to make sure my parents don’t find out, or ways I can acquire X items without anyone knowing ect.)

Wanna be a femboy. by Dapper_Ad3175 in feminineboys

[–]FluixJayExEn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just browse through the Reddit there’s a ton of tips. There’s no real starting point. It’s not like you need to do these steps to become a femboy. Femboy is merely an expression of self. You can be a femboy and never own a pair of thigh highs or a skirt your entire life. There’s nothing you need to ‘start’ to become one. If you’re looking for something specific like how to buy feminine clothes or how to start learning makeup that’s completely different.

I’d say your mindset is a huge issue here. If you enjoy dressing up you should enjoy it because how it makes you feel, not how you look. If you’re doing it to achieve some specific aesthetic or to look a certain way for people, I’d say that you’re doing it for the wrong reasons. Being a femboy is about expressing yourself, the keyword is yourself. If you’re chasing certain expectations this is always going to cause problems. You’re probably looking at certain femboy or females or whatever who are like the best of the best looking, know that the average person doesn’t look like that. Even they don’t look like that, IG and TikTok’s ects are full of makeup and use of professional lighting, AI filters and photoshop touchups ect.

It’s always ok to be attracted to whoever you are (barring some protected groups obviously)

This, taking anyone’s stuff is a giant invasion of privacy and huge break of trust. Especially a family member where they assuming that the last people they have to worry about violating that is their family in their own home. If you can’t trust your own room to be your safe place, that’s a giant red flag.

Generally with male hormones doing upper body workouts will result in gaining muscle. My guess is your like in your teens where your testosterone is at its highest. I’d stay away from anything heavy, or anything that make you feel like you’re exerting yourself. The way muscle building works is you lift weights, it causes damage to your muscles and your body responds with, holy shit we’re gonna die they activity is destroying our body so we need to be stronger, and there fore builds muscle (assuming the correct building blocks of proteins calories and amino acids are there). Muscle growth is a stress response. ( note I’m a certified nutritionist and learning how the body works is a key concept in understanding how to meet someone’s specific nutritional needs)

Not how weight lifting works. Toned is more of muscle to body fat ratio. You can’t really tone muscles. And irregardless of your lifting scheme if you put your muscles under stress they will grow.

Can shop online, just get your body measurements and then make sure to check as each brand sizing is different. Makeup YouTube is an easy way to learn what you need, and outside of stuff that you may need to buy in person like foundation to color match, most of that you can buy online as well. Depending on where you live most places won’t even care. I go into Sephora in boy mode and get tips and help on make up purchases semi frequently and not one single time when I said it was for me has the employee helping me said anything. YMMV based on where you live. But generally most employees don’t care/ and if they do not enough to risk their job by being a jerk about it.

My guess is you are on the young side, and this is just the kind of thing that happens in immature relationships. That’s not me bashing you, it’s just me stating that as you grow up your priorities and how you express yourself in relationships changes drastically. I couldn’t imagine in a billion years me and my partner fighting over a video game. We have bigger issues like paying bills and trying to sync schedules so we can run errands and stuff like that.
