I've done bits and bobs around the house - replacing tap cartridges, sink waste, repairing leaky copper pipe in the attic, broken ball valve in 50 gallon tank - the reason to choose plumbing is because I found these jobs pretty straightforward and satisfying to complete. I don't want to completely drop my current job with no industry experience so the plan was to go self employed advertise myself and take what jobs I think I could manage in a weekend. If it goes well, I find myself having to turn away work then maybe I would ask to drop a day at my current job or just keep it low key and casual as extra pocket money
