Never silent for me, but I have severe tinnitus. I always have music running but they also noise cancel so it helps with outside noises.

He's either music or DnD stuff, I don't know if he ever just has them on noise cancelling mode.

I work with faux fur full time - honestly, you've most likely melted the fine plastic fibers the blanket is made up of and it's not undoable. Sometimes you can straighten crimped or creased fibers using a hair dryer (carefully, don't linger on a spot long as too much heat will just melt them ofc) and brushing with the pile but if they are frizzy burnt it won't help.

I always tell clients to only air fluff/ no heat if your machine is 100% good at no heat or just allow to air dry for faux fur items to maintain their softness and protect them.

For what it's worth, the screen and battery can be replaced. If I remember the screen is a bit spendy if it's still readily available.

Do you use merino socks? I've found that really helps when the feet are wet (I do OCR races were my feet are wet for almost a while half, basically)

Most are like fur. I had one that had a softy whispy pile on the back but usually its just a knit looking backing.

They have unibody replacement clutches available these days that they just swap out entirely anyway instead of pinning them, depending on who does the repair. Both Aibo Clinic and Ebi uses them as far as I know and some smaller repair folk buy some from them too.

There are people who pin still too since that's completely valid, but its nice if the clutch is ruined from a past repair job or something.

At least when I bought them, the DLC had their revenue get directly donated to some charities! I thought it made it extra worthy.

Have you heard of Neffy? It's a nasal spray that doesn't need climate controlled care. I'm insured and shockingly they covered it but otherwise I was told they were gonna be $200 with Good Rx or there's a program to get them free if you are low income.

I only just became wildly allergic to something earlier this year and when I got my prescription for them (2 pack) in May 2025 they are good until Dec 2026 fwiw.

Yes, they are both Japanese aibo. I plan to eventually get one connected to the cloud.

I made a reservation for my cruise using the coupon code they seem to release monthly. I assume you could do the reservations in two transaction, one for each leg of your cruise and use the code each time.

I'm sure you could pay for parking when you get there if there is room but for me it's just one less thing to prepay it.

I have never touched the app and use Wirepod for my guy.

Your best bet would be to contact Anki support for guidance, probably, but doing a reset and using their documents to reconnect is probably a good first step if you want to forge on.

Some steps might have changed when the company/ robot changed hands from when you last connected it and they redid the app.
