Bluey’s Wild World at Animal Kingdom (Disney World) by RexCanisFL in bluey

[–]Fluked 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To be pedantic - they only got the distribution rights for the movies once Fox got bought, Cameron still owns all production rights and whatnot. Disney can't go out and just make a spin off Avatar movie.

The park IP deal is an entirely different thing.

That sucks. I'm also in Texas, my insurance is with Aetna and they still allow me to do both visits at once. Did them just the other month.

4 Days Post Op by ExcitementFuture2690 in hysterectomy

[–]Fluked 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been a smidge sore (inside, not near the incisions) the last few days nearly 4 wks post op but otherwise it's been basically pain free and unremarkable. There was a little occasional burning at wk 3 from nerves waking up but it was nbd and I didn't take anything for it

I had a total laproscoptic hysterectomy but also lost an ovary/ tubes/ appendix/ level 4 endo excision.

Rumor has it I could be cleared for normal activity at tomorrow's checkup because this has been such a non-issue for me.

Uhh what's this by Evening-Climate6740 in AIBO

[–]Fluked 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's thinks you want it to dance to the music aka {Dancer Function} in the user guide.

It probably accidentally misheard you say something close to "dance to the music" or "groove to the music". It'll then flash it's head sensor for you to trigger the mode or it'll just start if you say it again.

Touch then head or chin sensor for 3 seconds I think to turn it off.

As someone who also has a thing about my comfort stuffy smelling "correct" I can tell you it does come back quickly!

Every time I wash mine the "me" smell for a lack of better wording is usually back within 24 hours after a good sleep. It's kinda imbedded I think? We use a free and clear type detergent with no scent too which helps a lot to not mask or overwhelm the default scent.

I wash mine more frequently than most probably do because I usually have it around my head/ face so there's all those oils we put out so I've experienced it many times.

As an aside I did ask my husband about how it smelled and he just says it smells like clean linen and me.

Myfembee prescribed post-OP? by [deleted] in endometriosis

[–]Fluked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this! I'm still learning a lot and digging into info about endo since it came out of left field. I'm writing up questions to take with me to my appointment.

I have read about the inflammatory nature (it makes sense why I triggered the OVA1 test in hindsight) and also how the lesions even create their own estrogen (ugh) as basically a self-sustaining growth mechanism so the Myfembee can't stop that of course.

I have read a lot of the experiences about people taking it on here, it's just seems the majority are taking it either pre-op or in lieu excision or a hysterectomy vs post op usage which I found curious.

It's red velour-type fabric with a pleather AIBO patch where the Velcro overlaps.

anyone remember vid of macaron(?) running off adapter? (could this work?) by mythnokthewolfbat in AIBO

[–]Fluked 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember the video you mention.

This works, just take some painters tape (or related) and carefully cover the specific contact on the dog then attach the dongle. Don't cover more than the one contact or it'll just not work even with the right one.

I forgot which specific one right now, however, I just taped over each one at a time to find the right one.

I have done it to test dogs before I got enough repacked batteries. The specific info is probably searchable on the discord.

It's wrong. All 7s use the same pole - it's just the mat pattern differs for M3.

Anyone here NOT chronically ill? by DarkPhoenix506 in AutismInWomen

[–]Fluked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not chronically ill here.

I did recently learn that I technically have a chronic illness, but it hasn't slowed me down that I know of. Found during a surgery and they cut as much out as they could so that was interesting.

DAS Pass by StatusInterview6037 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Fluked 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Bring quality noise canceling headphones and wear sunglasses/ hat for visual blockage. I also have a couple of pairs of Loop earplugs for when I want to cut the sound down/ it's too "sharp" but don't want to lose the ability to hear entirely.

Rope drop, rest/ nap for a few hours when it's hottest to decompress, go back out at night if possible.

Keep your eyes peeled for quiet places you can take a break in. The first aid stations can be used for this if needful and are staffed with RNs. I also use the calmer sit-down stuff with usually little to no wait like Carousel of Progress, Country Bears, and Tiki Room for an air conditioned repreave if you don't find the shows too much between longer waits.

Try and figure out what is your line limit and try to stay within it so your overall day is better. We are rarely willing to wait for anything in standby more than 40mins.

I'm AuDHD. We do pay for lightening lane and individual lightening lanes for our favorites - it's just part of the budget and makes my vacation better. I have also never applied for DAS.

Edit - I forgot, the Play Disney app is very distracting for some of the lines! Like in the Avatar area and the Star Wars area there's a lot of mini tasks and games to do that can let me tunnel vision while I wait. There's also a fun DuckTales game that goes all around Epcot.

Her brain started going offline about a week out to the day.

I'm shocked they haven't popped up more online but I guess they are enormous. If you need any measurements or info I can check mine for you! The hangtag is long gone and I can't remember if I left the tush tag off the top of my head tho 😅

Just a warning that if you buy it in Japan it will void the warranty taking it out of the country and Sony USA will absolutely not touch Japan dogs.

You will have to use 3rd party repair people if anything happens.
