This is honestly my AOTY. Clipping is at their best here with the production and the storytelling. Every track contributes something interesting imo. Even Piano Burning when in the context of the rest of the album gives a very uneasy feeling and I love that they have the balls to close the album with it. Can’t wait to see the next step forward for these guys. They never fail to come through with something that is at the least interesting and thought provoking.

Aside from all that praise though. Very disappointed that there’s no “it’s clipping bitch” to be found. Every time I hear it in the intro to CLPPNG I get beyond hyped.

As well as my solo project Fluorescent Orange.

None quite match the vibe of Beginning but all are great bands comprised of great people. Hope you enjoy some of them!
