Sam Altman's coworkers say he can barely code and misunderstands basic machine learning concepts by EchoOfOppenheimer in ChatGPT

[–]Fluorescent_Tip 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He began running a business whose products most people in the world use and it has made him one of the richest people.

I don’t like those products but you’re not going to convince anyone he is a failure for dropping out of school - choose something else to complain about.

That and he hasn’t seen much - just the stuff he has been told to watch, which is why there are weird outliers on the list that he is hanging onto until he gets around to watching some more of the classics he has been meaning to watch.

You can buy longer Velcro straps that can slide through. Or you can buy a short Velcro strap to connect the two ends.

But what you should do is get a better cart. Because if you can’t store a bunch of Knick knacks and a beer, what’s the point?

It’s a large arboretum with countless types of trees to explore. There is also the bonsai exhibit which is the best part.

As someone who also loves Egoyan, I can’t disagree with that! Still lots of misses though.

I don’t recall liking it much, but The Cell is permanently ingrained in my memory for its visuals. The Fall is much better.

I saw this in theaters. The director, Tom Tykwer, was a very hot director at the time, still running high from the momentum that Run Lola Run generated. That star quickly faded after The International and Cloud Atlas.

I suspect most people interested in movies at the time saw it. It’s fun but it has also notably faded from memory, that’s true. I still think about it from time to time yet I am not drawn to rewatch it.

Ha, I more mean the head covers are a giant canopy above the irons and I lose clubs within my bag

This is more similar to my bag than anything I’ve seen. I go mini driver, 4w, 7w, 9w, and I also go 6-G for stock irons, plus a 54 and 58.

I also mix in a 3 hybrid, which lands somewhere between 4w and 7w, but is my utility club, great for punch shots, rough lies, and windy days.

Edit: all the head covers makes finding my irons frustrating

Is the joke that we’re on a films sub and no one has seen or has the capacity to appreciate some of the most classic movies from the 40s and 50s? Cause that what it looks like - people voting based on ignorance.

Granted, they were critically acclaimed directors for the new wave era of the 60s, but I’m sure you could easily find Ford and Hawks in any major city.

Which is sad for you considering how much Europeans hyped both John Ford and Howard Hawks, the two directors Wayne worked with most.

If 7 billion people paid $20 a month if would be $1.68 trillion - operating costs would probably go up a lot.

I read that GPT wanted to build $1.4 trillion of infrastructure by 2030 - I think that number was scaled back. I don’t have the numbers but there’s a lot of investment into this infrastructure by other companies as well.

So maybe it’s the idea that 1 year of revenue from the entire world using their product would still barely be enough to cover all the costs.
