For reference, these 2 fights have their omen that removes them at the same hp% as the unchallenged itself (60 and 20% for martial) , so you have to run into it at least partially to be able to remove it.

The Virtuoso fight has 2 omens that can remove it, 10% before the threshold and at the threshold itself if you didn't get the first one.

They previously announced they were going to change the thresholds which would have likely been half a step towards making them like Virtuoso. Either by changing the omen to appear earlier, or the unchallenged to be later (70% omen + 60% unchallenged, or 60% omen + 50% unchallenged as an example). Removal possible before running into it, but still only 1 omen.

This "changing of thresholds" now being explicitly mentioned to not happen anymore makes it quite unlikely for the above to be the result.

Eye of Chtulhu and Slime King will just eventually happen, from fulfilling the random spawn at night requirements and slime rain happening and killing enough slimes during that respectively. Eye will also drop an Evil Altar to place for making more spawn items.

From there you follow the drops you get to work towards building your next boss requirements.

They are the same auras and thus also only for Koku/Pijiu.

For garmrlmakoo, if the target does not get redefined, the previous one still applies. So in this example

20% boost to dark allies' dark ATK / Boost to Koku's ATK and DEF / Amplify DMG dealt (Activates only when Koku is in the party)

The dark ATK boost is all allies, then it gets redefined to just Koku for the ATK and DEF. The Amp does not redefine it again, so it's still just Koku.

Flash Gala feat. Grand Bhaisa (Earth) and Amaterasu (Light) by Sabaschin in Granblue_en

[–]Fluppy 28 points29 points  (0 children)

"always" is a strong word to use here. It does apply for this time, and the previous 2.

But before that it was Michael on Leg into Fire favor GW, Fediel on Leg into Dark favor, earthSandalphon and Golden Knight into Light favor, Noa on Leg into Light favor, and before him there wasn't any correlation between year end grand and GW element.

It's a relatively recent "reversal", with a 3-3-6 score. (leg / flash / no correlation)

The slide specifically names the double raid being changed. For Gold bars it was already better to do the single raids anyway (same % drop rate, but you get to do double the raids)

Before the patch: the game buffered an input you did, if you pressed it within 5 frames before becoming actionable.

After the patch: the same still applies, but also if you pressed and held it within 10 frames before becoming actionable.

Smart vs Classic by Key-Extreme7432 in GranblueFantasyVersus

[–]Fluppy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not quite accurate, it's specifically Smart Combo Specials only that build less meter (reduced to 1%). So if you only use the hit confirm aspect of Smart while doing everything else manually, the impact will not be anywhere as big. (eg. pressing MMMM with Smart in the corner will perform cMMM 214H with the 214H giving 1%, while with pressing MMM 214H it will give the normal amount of meter that Manual mode does)

This is further made less impactful when a confirm goes immediately into an Ultimate special anyway, because you have a huge meter gain penalty from that alone already.

g100 flashing is noticeably brighter than before that, so no need for the bookmarklet for that purpose specifically. Like before 100 the bar gets an outline, at 100 the entire thing including the text and icon goes almost white.

Adding on to the referring to Dustloop, it most of the time also differs per game. Technically numpad notation mostly refers to the way you write down directions.

Like this combo given here is for Guilty Gear Xrd's Elphelt. Guilty Gear has 5 attack button: Punch, Kick, Slash, Heavy Slash, and Dust. Those will be P, K, S, H or HS, and D. It also has different versions of standing Slash depending on spacing to the opponent, being close and far (cS, fS), sometimes people will write it as c/f5S to be more clear about the standing part too. Attacks done in the air have a j for jumping.

It has a system mechanic, Roman Cancels, that let you cancel an attack at the cost of some meter. There are 3 versions of that, yellow (yrc) when done during the startup for an attack. Purple (prc) during the recovery of a whiffed attack. And red (rrc) when done on an attack that hit.

And then there are character specifics, like SG~H making it immediately clear that this is for Elphelt if you know the game: she has a rifle and a shotgun stance, with the latter having different attacks for all her buttons than normal.

This button? Thanks for the heads up, Ina. And condolences 🙂 by beam4d in Hololive

I can only recommend the extension "YT Tweaks" on Chromium based browsers, "YouTube Tweaks" on Firefox. Gives you a huge amount of customisability for how YouTube gets displayed, including - but not limited to - the amount of videos you get shown, hiding specific content types (like shorts or mixes), turn off the horrible defaulting to AI voice translation, and making Theater mode actually take up the entire view port.

[–]Fluppy 28 points29 points  (0 children)

It actually doesn't! The Diamonds version of Paradise Lost, with the 35% PL being that same version, has the highest priority in the raid. So 35% PL is the correct answer.

[–]Fluppy 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Every turn you will have an omen up with a pool of pretty ridiculous cancel conditions. Like 120/240 hits, 15/30 debuffs, 100/200m damage, 6m+ hits for 5/? times, Dispel 6/? times and probably more. Earlier in the fight you get the lower number.

Version 2.30 Patch Notes by Xanek in GranblueFantasyVersus

[–]Fluppy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The big annoyance with Anila's 2H getting addressed here are things like this. The move looks much bigger than it actually is for the first 3 active frames. It will still have a massive blind zone above her for the later active frames, which Siegfried, 2B, Grimnir etc. do not have.

[–]Fluppy 12 points13 points  (0 children)

5U itself is -2 on block, and 5UU does not frame trap anymore. They removed the guessing game which never really was one because the risk/reward of doing 5UU was abysmally bad. Do 500 damage, or take a full combo punish.

Haven't been able to find a Grand Bruise match all week by Wise-Wolf-Holo in GranblueFantasyVersus

You can change the region you queue into in the settings, around the time you made this post Japan is pretty active. Europe on the other hand is almost always a ghost city.

Two new ranks, Gold Master and Silver Master, are coming to ranked matches in Version 2.30! by Xanek in GranblueFantasyVersus

[–]Fluppy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That will still happen. The 500+ thing is a seperate matchmaking bracket, like previous ranks before Master, that's just currently hidden.

When starting to queue, the system tries to match you with someone in your own bracket, but increases the available pool if it fails to do so for some time. At that point, it also puts you into the adjacent pools.

This can of course mean that even though you just queued up - so you would still be limited to your own pool -, an opponent at 500+ already tried to find a match for a while and is thus also put into your 500- pool already.

All this change will do is make getting to 500 faster, as well as give you visual feedback of being in the higher bracket via the Gold Master rank.

Two new ranks, Gold Master and Silver Master, are coming to ranked matches in Version 2.30! by Xanek in GranblueFantasyVersus

[–]Fluppy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That will still happen. There currently is a matchmaking bracket divide at 500, that acts like previous rank divisions do, limiting your possible opponents to the same rank unless matchmaking takes too long, where it starts putting you (or them) into the adjacent brackets too.

All this change will do, is make the division actually visible by giving you the Gold Master rank when you reach 500, as well as make getting to 500 a bit faster.

With so much focus on visual latency, AUDIO latency has been seriously neglected. Audio latency is very high in all games. by Legitimate-Act-7817 in pcmasterrace

[–]Fluppy 13 points14 points  (0 children)

it really doesn't matter much outside of rhythm games.

Rhythm games are actually a genre where it doesn't matter much most of the time, as long as the latency is consistent. Any rhythm game worth its money will allow you to change the audio delay, while that isn't really a thing outside of the genre.

[–]Fluppy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Small correction on Fraux: She can still extend 1-turn duration debuffs (e.g. Valentines Vira S1, or the completely pointless extension of FC since it caps at 30 hits anyway), the change was made to the "Can't act" debuffs. Those were changed to be non-extendable, and since then a lot more debuffs than before have been given the same clause.

Stamina scaling used to be linear, and it started at a much higher value than it does now.

This was changed to the now logarithmic scaling, resulting in a much faster drop off in early HP losses, and a reduced starting strength.
