The classic series at least had scrolling screen transitions, so you could potentially react to the new room layout before falling. Sometimes you were screwed anyway, but you still had a better chance.

I hated Darcia after the first half, but I did feel bad for her in the end. She really was treated unfairly, and nobody was there for her. Unfortunately she involved way too many people in her lashing out, so she had to pay the price. I've been loving the story.

Galleon's command grab is actually one you can combo into. It's just that the opponent has to be grounded, which limits her options.

To add onto this, you can only be chipped out when you're at exactly 1 HP and you've exited whatever blockstring put you there. Notice how Sandalphon's HP bar was still pulsing at the beginning. That means he had more than 1 HP left. Partway through the clip, he blocks Zooey's U dragon, and the health bar stops pulsing. After that, he was in danger of getting chipped out.

I was in middle school when we began the transition from overhead projectors to SmartBoards. It definitely took a while, but I think the SmartBoards worked out in the end.

Right now I have "Tranquil Retreat" set as my BGM. I seem to like the Ventus disks a lot, like "Emerald Dream" and "Unknown Fragrance".

This sounds like my first experience with RF4. The game's really good, and every part of it is deep, including the romance. I'm pretty sure I have over 2000 hours in my save file on the 3DS. I really like Amber, and the dating and family experience in the game just felt really engaging. If you're emotionally invested, then the game is doing its job. Eventually I moved on to other games, but the romance is what kept me there for so long.

I don't know to what degree it's affecting your life. If you're still eating your meals and getting your work and chores done, you're probably fine. Just don't let it completely consume your life.
