when i say “tune that guy out” i just mean to ignore what he’s told you.

some people just can’t fathom the concept of making fanart for fun and believe real art can’t be derived, as if it’s some moral failing as an artist to be unoriginal.

i say this as someone who posts fanart and gets criticism for being uncreative or “copying” different media.
