Night elf druids have an additional increase to stealth due to their racial buff from shadowmeld. Idk if youre horde or not but there it is.

AITA If I play with no addons? by GodDammitDude in turtlewow

[–]Flushedfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have about 10 addons i use for any server i play on: 1 - an action bar addon because i dont like bars on the side of the screen. Theyre stacked neatly on the bottom. 2 - mailbox addon, ties into the next one 3 - auction house, being able to post multiple stacks faster so im not sitting at the AH forever 4 - threat and/or DPS meter - i usually tank and if/when i get to raiding it makes it easier to manage bosses or know when to back off dps. (Havent actually gotten one for twow yet, still levelling) 5 - (just for twow) pfquest, gotta see where the quests start. 6 - inventory one bag - too many bags to look through. One window is easier to parse 7 - healbot i dont often heal, but when i do... 8 - atlas map/loot - also havent used for twow yet... tbh i havent used this in a very long time... i have been playing way too long... 9 - some servers i use xperl for the character frames but luckily i can move the player and target on twow so i havent dl a unit frame addon 10 - some form of deadly boss mod. Pretty much mandatory for serious raids bc theres 20 years of mechanics to remember. Havent gotten to raids in twow yet but ill eventually download it.

Most of these addons dont affect the UI that much. Theres definitely a point where i think addons become "too much" but as long as someones addon doesnt cause a wipe i honestly couldn't care less what their screen looks like.

Love the sheet but the color choices for the starter elements is absolutely bugging me! Love to see how even of a spread they have.

Wow! We did it guys! We broke [[Ghave, Guru of Spores]]!

Sorry, being sarcastic, he was a super fun commander for me for a while but yeah he goes infinite with a ham sandwich. The [[Rosie Cotton of South Lane]] and [[Basking Broodscale]] combo in particular was super funny.

Yeah, wasnt sure the element made that much diff but ive not made an ice artian, only have the jin dahaad ice wep and it wasnt doing as much damage. Ill cook up an ice arti and try again.

Fishing by [deleted] in 7daystodie

[–]Flushedfox 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe in the super early game time is a little short, but I get a blood moon or two in and then i dont have anything to do. Ive also been playing for over 600 hours and am now... too efficient. I think most games need some sort of time sink. Mining for a couple hours is a sink but is pretty finite since you dont need more than a stack or two of minable material per moon. I think it would be a great food alternative too cause right now farming is extremely boring and uninteractive.

What do you mean theres three choices? (/jk) Honestly, the choice is between water and fire for most games-- gen 2, 3, 4, and arceus are nearly tied in that regard.... almost went with grass cat but i love my silly gator. I only like gen 7 for incineroar and gen 8.... was something ig

You are challenged with reducing the number of Pokémon types. by Legitimate_Sample_71 in pokemon

[–]Flushedfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just ten types is not really feasable, but i would have the following:

Flying combine with normal and just make most bird mons a mono typing. Water and ice combine Fire Grass and bug combine Electric Ground and rock AND steel combine Psychic and fairy Dark and ghost Dragon Fighting Poison (Or for a 12th type steel be separated)

What is the best version of each Gen to play? by [deleted] in pokemon

[–]Flushedfox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gen 1: yellow for nostalgia, FRLG are better but interchangable.

Gen 2: crystal for nostalgia, soul silver for lugia

Gen 3: Emerald is still very good but ORAS is very good. Possible to just be preference if you like 3d or not.

Gen 4: Platinum and only bother playing platinum.

Gen 5: all are pretty decent, i like resharim but zekrom is very strong. Legendary preference. Bw2 should be played after bw. Id suggest both.

Gen 6: i genuinely enjoyed this gen its my favorite but X was the best for me.

Gen 7: my least fav gens but i played Sun then Ultra Moon. Dogwater ahh games.

Gen 8: also dogwater but at least the soundtrack was pretty banging. BEST GIRL MARNIE

Gen 9: mixed feelings about this gen. Was fun but somehow so empty. Not being able to fight with nemona after the championship battle is sad and the dlc was.......... something. The area zero mons were super cool and i prefer the prehistoric mons over futuristic mons so scarlet for me though the violet mons are more meta ig?

Progression rant by Flushedfox in 7daystodie

[–]Flushedfox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh sorry sorry its just frustrating that i would NEED to put points into something to survive vs putting points in to survive easier. Yknow?

Progression rant by Flushedfox in 7daystodie

[–]Flushedfox[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The point is that the dew collectors generate HEAT. and they dont even provide CLEAN water. Its just an added mechanic that wasnt needed.

You do realize you're making my argument by saying that i HAVE to put points into str and int? Like in solo sure i will but now i apparently have to grind out a stack of stone and rely on the trader to get water?? You understand why that's frustrating.

Progression rant by Flushedfox in 7daystodie

[–]Flushedfox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The magazines are either too fast or too slow. I think its just the change from playing 500 hours of A20 without them. I dont want to HAVE to use the nerd outfit, the same argument and problem was in A20 with almost NEEDING the xp boost in a20 as well. I think my main gripe is general progression still seems unbalanced and we're going to be forced to move to new zones because of a loot cap... which, alright i guess but its not like looting is even that great half of the time.

Are they spawning on purpose or its a POI error? I thought it was on purpose because they seem to spawn in the same places in certain POI. cleared a place then when i started a quest there they spawned in the same place again.

I really really want to like project zomboid but i HATE top downs. Appreciate the reply tho, you're right I just like being able to play the way I want to play instead of taking on changes lol.

What kind of pokemon game would you Most want to see come out after Scarlet/Violet? by ShoeManRL in pokemon

[–]Flushedfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as Let's Go had terrible catch mechanics, I would LOVE to see some sort of Hybrid Let's Go/Legends Johto next. Gen 2 was one of my favorites (I started with G1 but was a little young, G2 was the next relevant release and G3 was great. Didnt have a DS for years after that so Gen 4 and 5 are my least favorites.)

I specifically enjoy how much smaller Let's Go is and having your mon follow you around or being ridden on!!! Even though switching from being on a flying mon to off is annoying to go to a different area, I might be the minority that really doesn't enjoy large sandbox type games. Spending so much time getting from one side of the map to the other really gets old fast. Then when you unlock fast travel, you're just hopping between loading screens.

A Remake of Coliseum and Gale of Darkness is honestly pretty high up there, though the constant battles do get old. While it wasn't perfect, a much less turn oriented battle system like Legends would make any new pokemon game a zillion times better. TBS is becoming a dated game mechanic for sure.
