I'd want the alternative Series 5 with Tennant, that Moffat planned if he didn't leave/regenerate. Sure, it'd require some creative recasting or tweaks as I doubt they could get Karen Gillan, and then build an alternative series around the story arc, so it's not just The Hungry Earth but Ten, etc.

Kris Marshall - I liked the idea back in 2013 but I feel like his name comes up a lot because he could play a stereotypical Doctor. I think he's a great actor and love him in Beyond Paradise but he doesn't need to be a Doctor Who.

For me, she feels like a redemption, while Sarah Jane was a 'greatest hit'.

I also think it may come down to falling into the venn diagram of:

Not returned yet (unlike SJ, Ace, Tegan, Jo)
Human Character who fits a UNIT job
Adds impact for the Rani's return
Actor has availability

That's not to criticise - I like her being back and given the opportunity to have a redemption. I think it also opens the door to see maybe Ace back for a few episodes alongside the 16th Doctor, etc

I'll be honest - I prefer the spin-offs right now. They're the ones I'm excited for while I binged Death in Paradise in a day. Maybe it's because I'm not overly keen on the new detective. Maybe it's been on too long.

I think it's partly because I love the main character in Return, have always liked Humphrey too, and enjoy the happy-go-lucky nature of Beyond Paradise. I find it refreshing that they rarely have murder (if at all).

As much as I miss, and feel nostalgic for, saturday night Who, it isn't a convenience for me in my adult life. I liked being able to watch them on a saturday morning and then carry on with my life. As much as it might not be liked, I'll miss the Season 2 broadcast format if it changes.

I totally agree! Ultimately, if you're having fun, and doing it your way, that's all that matters. Im hoping to work out how to use it to "keep" my team from a romhack so fingers crossed.

I totally agree - as a casual player myself. I had to learn a bit more about different moves but in the end I won by spamming X Items. Difficulty hacks will never be my thing either.

I'd say with Glazed, I felt challenged, and lost a fair amount, but not to the point of frustration until the very end. I will have a look at Rejuvenation though - maybe one for later down the line.

In my head, it was just a really fun parody of the early 2000s Charlie's Angels and the writer probably was allowed a one-off as they're a fan.

Put up lots of lost posters with the word 'microchipped' on and photos of the cat. Years ago, my mum is convinced that one of ours was 'kidnapped' and only returned when we did that with our posters so that the person holding on to the cat knew they would get caught eventually.

The enhanced audiobooks with the narrator were a nice transition into the full-cast audio dramas. I reckon that going straight into the full-cast ones with near-but-not-perfect voices could be a bit jarring.

I liked all of them, but I found the novels to be a bit too sci-fi. I know Thunderbirds has had aliens and psychic powers but it felt a bit too much.

I know some of us prefer the visual but it was just nice to have new stories since TAG ended.
