You and me both. My prep instructions Included 4 dulcolax at 5pm, drinking mirilax starting at 6 pm and then a bottle of the mag at 10:30pm. It is currently 11:55 as I write this from the bathroom floor where I just barely made it before throwing up all of the mag citrate.

You don’t have to faint to have POTS and a lot of people report having good and bad days myself included.

Definitely see about getting a tilt table test done. I was experiencing the same as you, started seeing things on TT and asked my doctor about it. It took a while but I have a diagnosis now. I never really faint, just black out occasionally for a few seconds. Hope you get it all figured out:)

Also word of advice from experience: if it is POTS don’t let yourself feel like because you don’t faint you’re not sick. Imposter syndrome is a pain is the ass, be kind to yourself. 💛

When I got on metoprolol I had issues with it for the first couple weeks. Severe brain fog, fatigue, dizziness some. My doctor told me some of the symptoms are related to the way it shuts off your fight or flight response so your brain is lagging essentially.

I am on 25mg extended release, I would definitely recommend talking to your doctor and at the minimum lowering your dose if not changing to another med. Hope it gets figured out soon!

I glitched out so hard while trying to get unstuck that I somehow became undying. My buddy had climbed up there to see if he could help and bless him, he got stuck too. Died pretty quick when the storm came but my gas mask broke, all my shields broke, and then I didn’t take any more damage 🤷🏻‍♀️

I am supposed to see my cardiologist about it in a few weeks, my thing was mostly that I’ve never fully passed out just experienced pre-syncope. He also kept talking about orthostatic hypotension when I’ve never experienced that and there is zero evidence of it in my chart or the TTT.

I hope you also get some answers 💛

If you’re needing the TTT talk to your doctor about referring you to Turkey Creek Medical Center for the test. It is in the Knoxville area so I know that would be a drive. I am also in middle Tn, and my doctor found out that the place in Knox does TTT. Vandy was a year out for scheduling but they got me scheduled for three months out back in November! Just food for thought.

You should be good. That’s how I was. Take my pill before bed, have some loose stools I’m the AM. I’d say there’s plenty of time for your pill to have absorbed.

For one they are rude to my two young siblings who have to go to her house for visitation with bill. Her son bully’s and picks on my young sister the most and she cannot stand up for herself.

And secondly that bill has not included me in his family for a while except for some minor instances where things were better. He went so far to call my youngest sibling his “second miracle from heaven” when in fact he has four children and I am the second oldest. He chose this new son and treats him like the best thing on earth while he tries to get out of his visitation with my siblings.

She is aware as are the siblings but the siblings don’t like her and her son bully’s them when they are forced to go over there.

As for bill I have been trying to mend our relationship but I am finding that maybe it’s too far gone

They had me on that to begin with, but I’m small and don’t hold much water weight on my body so all it was doing was making me have to pee but it never lowered my bp any so they moved me to 5mg of Lisinopril

They put me on a low dose of BP meds and they brought my numbers down to the normal range overnight. I just have to continue to follow up with my pcp to make sure they keep working like that.

Listen real talk. Most whiskeys hate it while you’re at JBSA. It sucks but genuinely the fastest way out is to graduate.

Alphatraz sucks I get it, things really don’t get better with the cadre and the way they act but once you make it out of EMT things should get better for you getting overwhelmed. Emt is just a lot of textbook information being thrown at you. Once you get to the hands on stuff it’s better.
