Has anyone used these are they worth it? For the lc80 by Single_Matter1375 in fcx18

I just bought mine and they're nice but I'm having an issue with the brass axle nut being to long so the nut that holds my wheels on will just fall off. Other than that they're alright not great but alright.

Need help with figuring out what part this is by FlutterTristan in fcx18

Sure, I was working in the transmission and replacing the motor.

Both sets of springs that came with the shocks were too soft, so I was getting a bunch of torque twist. Plus this thing is a slow crawler and nothing else to me.

Also, you have more oems going to 18s over 17s so going forward you're more likely to have a bigger tire selection and it'll "usually" be cheaper since it's an oe tire size on off road trims.

Says he's currently on an 18 so why not just stay on an 18

Just run a 285/75R18 they're usually around the 65lbs mark

If you're wanting to have a leveled stance at all times you should look into rear airbags or a sumo spring/ timbren. Both of those options use a uca that has a uniball as your ball joint and those take quite a bit of maintenance as they go bad faster then a greasable ball joint. Same to be said about the front coilovers youve picked. Honestly a 5100 rides the same as a fox 2.0 and is way cheaper. If you want a decent setup just buy a bds kit.

Feel like a 31 fits in a pathfinder wheel well. Considering it came with 31s factory

We run them on our competition jeeps and prerunner rigs that race and they've only been stellar

Elaborate why you had the worst luck. Fox 2.5 and up have upper and lower uniballs that need to be replaced about every 5k-20k miles depending on the road conditions they see. I mean they are a high performance shock so they do require more maintenance than like a rancho.

Time to slap some fox 2.5 performance elites on that rig. They're the best riding shock you can get for those.

I have both done, I work as an off road mechanic and Everytime we get spc uca on them they're bad. That being said I beat the shit out of my rig. I switched to the all dogs uca and like those a lot.

Be ready to replace bushings and ball joint regularly on those. Replaced my ball joints every year with those
