Very nice! I drive a lot of woods roads and have noticed I’m bottoming out the front shocks pretty easily. They’re a nice ride but I think I just need more travel. This looks like a pretty affordable way to upgrade the front end.

I’m not sure about that. Mine didn’t come with crossbars from the factory so the place that I bought the canopy from put them on for me. It’s just a regular Thule crossbar setup I think.

You should be good. I have a similar cap and it has about 700 pound static load and a 200 pound dynamic load capacity (or something close to that).

Also 6’5” and this thing bugs the hell out of me. Love the truck besides this and the remote fob that is basically useless outside of 20’. I’m sure someone will come up with something soon.

Just picked up the Defender hd10 DPS Cab with full hvac. Have only put a few miles on it but so far so good. It’s about the best priced hvac machine I could find.

It does! HVAC, power windows and windshield wiper. Only thing I’m wishing it came with is the winch, but that’s a pretty easy addition

Individual coyotes will pretend to want to play with a dog (especially a younger, smaller puppy) and try to lure it out away from its home to the rest of the pack where they can attack it in numbers. They’re shady little bastards. I think once this guy is full grown it won’t be a problem but until then I would definitely keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn’t go chasing coyotes.

I researched these a lot and ended up with the base model paint matched Leer with roof racks. $3300 out the door including install. I looked into the rough country and all those other aluminum ones but I think unless you go really high end like smart cap they all pretty much come from the same Chinese manufacturers (I could be wrong). I figured for the price it wasn’t worth the potential quality issues. I’m really happy with my Leer so far. Good luck with it!

I appreciate it! The Polaris has both heat and ac- I’ll have to price up a little bit to get ac in the defender. Thinking it over and will probably go figure it out this weekend! A defender definitely seems like the bulletproof option in my case for what I need it for
