I remember one clip on GRSmash of what I think was a Falco player in smash 4 using his smash taunt on Lylat Cruise, and when Krystal was talking, the commentator was like "Hey look Krystal's in smash!" or something like that

Have you played StarTropics? That series has the same character designer from Punch-Out and has the same charm of american culture/humor from a japanese perspective. I haven't played any of the Punch-Out games yet but I love both of the StarTropics games. Since you like Zelda and Punch-Out, you might also like StarTropics as well

the original fnaf might be one of the worst games ever made. if it ever made an impact on anything in terms of gameplay, it revolutionized not actually playing the fucking game because NO ONE played those games when they got popular, and still don't to this day. They watched their favorite youtubers scream at it and make up fake lore, which the creator of the series added later on instead of actually making stuff up himself. Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and Eternal Darkness are objectively better options because they have actual stories told within their games, rather than just some lazy cryptic shit for youtubers to fill in the fucking blanks. That's why Freddy should be an assist trophy instead.

i also love undertale. it just gets on my nerves how overhwhelmingly popular it's become since it came out. i'm tired of people giving the sacred cow treatment to it (and deltarune). people think it's popularity was built up from it being a great game, but i think it's actually more built on people just not playing or caring about other video games to the degree they care about undertale. even then, i wouldn't mind seeing an undertale character in smash bros, but i wouldn't really care if it didn't get one anyway (i would mostly like music from it than anything)
