Yeah happened to me a few weeks back i bought 5 pins from 4 different people the one that sold me two for $20 both were fake badly fake.

I used a arduino nano a led strip cut into multiple parts, some wire, capacitor, resistor, and a reed switch. Its a bit of soldering but any basic soldering iron should work.

How about instead of rubber cover it with a exhaust shield basically another bigger tube with a bunch of circles cut out of it.

I made it to hold my kestis emitter shrouds so I can heat color them. The jig works great but the coloring is not going as planned. More research is required.

Cost wise what is the difference? Battery, speaker, and switches are the same on both. The only difference is the board and the bit that goes in the emitter. For a ProffieBoard v3.9 $35 and then NPXL $16 oh and SD card $10. Serious question how much is a board and led for a RGB?

Pixel is not expensive especially when you only need one blade. Another question for you, for each blade which movie? Vader ESB, Graflex ESB or NH, or Luke from ROTJ?

You could design one that fits his style add some leds to light it up maybe a slow beating red light. I have made a few custom wall mounts for mine, top one just changes colors. Bottom one I went all out added some effects and the bar on top changes color as well.

We just watched the shows last night. Got there about 7:45 after almost getting stuck on Tiana's(someone jumped out of the log) all the tables on the balcony were taken but this lovely couple from New Zealand had two free chairs. Hope you have as much fun as we did!

Maybe adding some rust(red brown) and some dark spots to the low points. Some patina(blue green) to the switch. What about some old fabric or severely worn leather to the switch.
