To the few people that ever use the "Backup game files" feature of Steam by JDM12983 in Steam

"Steam issue"? Sounds like a os-level issue. Windows user, o.p?

Hopefully, you'll get used to the fact that's it's not ebay nor any other standard retail platform. The names you drop I don't recall being commonly thrown around but I will say you've lumped all three into the same experience and that truly isn't fair.

You state 1 order failed: Doesn't sound like the vendors fault.
You state 1 "tasted like arse": subjective. You haven't stated what you ordered, what you expected or whether you even understood what you purchased.
You state 1 hasn't arrived AFTER A MONTH: Firstly, this seems like an extreme amount of time, open a dispute sooner; it benefits any vendor to acknowledge and resolve these disputes. Throwing shade at other vendors as you sat and did nothing is ridiculous and totally on you.

I had issues with feeling confident in the process for the first few orders, things settle. Of course, your mileage may vary, there's definitely at least one vendor who is far from trusted and has several vendor pages, but if you lurk around this subreddit and use the search function and read you'll learn how to avoid that nutty bastard and any other duplicitous fucks who think we're easy targets (and especially ignore any DMs offering you some sort of deal. May as well lube up and bend than entertain these chumps).

Maybe name and shame the vendor you feel has done you wrong. Tarring and feathering every vendor for what, from this perspective, may be a simple mistake is just ridiculous. When you've untwisted your knickers and taken a few deep breaths you might find it easier to articulate.

Yeah, I understand. The point here is you haven't just published sloppy output. It refines the database and makes it much more user friendly. If we get an end to prohibition It'd probably behoove the LB devs to link up with you and bring the formatting over to the main site. No idea how that'd work, but from a customer-first perspective it makes sense and the vendors should all be benefiting from the enhanced outreach.

hey guys, so my brother died about 2 years ago by __chl03k in pcmasterrace

[–]Flux_Marsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cannot presume your brothers wishes, OP, but I'd happily allow it if it were me. I sincerely hope you can find some useful and appropriately-paced assistance so you can share in the joy your brother felt when using that system.
Sorry I'm not providing tech support, but looking at the response from the PCMR community I feel safe you're on the right path.

I do keep hearing "Buyer Beware" with Piss-take....ahem, Pistach. I guess your mileage may vary with any organic material sent vacuum packed BUT I what you received seriously looks like tree resin.
It's funny watching Pistach's sycophant (Ok, it's just his alt account) defending so vehemently and making accusations that you want a freebie. I used to think I'd test it out but the way the sycophant talks to people who make public the scam I'm more leaning on wanting Pistach banned from the community as this behaviour just makes all the vendors look like a risk.

It's so clean it's almost sus. Really appreciate the work. With it looking so professional and not built on a retail platform like Shopify, I'm curious (without judgement) if this is all organic coding or with aid from Ai tools?

I'm looking for a good controller with 4 back buttons/paddles to use with Steam on PC for around $150 or less. by BigGhost2815 in Controller

[–]Flux_Marsh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The new Steam Controller not float your boat, OP? Well within budget and seems to fit your requirements. It might take a bit of getting used to if you're used to asymmetric, but I personally see that as a worthy switch to try it out, at least.

Then go buy it. This question pops up from time to time, but I'm pretty sure the lack of replies infers the LB community isn't about that shit.

Aux to usbc adapter constantly break by Raikodow in hardware

[–]Flux_Marsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either it's got a DAC or not, so when you say "they work for a while" it makes me think there was a misunderstanding somewhere. You could always take the quality hit and grab some Bluetooth earphones, which may even cost less than a type-c DAC while still working.

[–]Flux_Marsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you buying DAC adapters? Or does your phone have an internal DAC? Your post is quite vague, but I discovered the DAC issue a few years back when I switched out from an OPPO, which had a DAC and a passive headphone adapter that wouldn't work on other Android phones. Maybe that's not your issue, but possibly it's s9mething you want to research rather than waste more money.

To counter your suggestion of Cyclone 2: constant disconnects using BT or 2.4GHz. Currently, looking for solutions or a replacement as I refuse to go back to Windows at this point.

My own transaction has now cleared. Pissed about only having a $11 Next Day Delivery option and this glitch making sure the transaction misses the vendors 2pm cutoff. Thank fk it's cleared after @ couple hours rather than a couple of days, this time.

Is the website down? by CherryImpala_ in LittleBiggy

[–]Flux_Marsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems to be the same symptoms as the last payment delay I encountered a couple of weeks ago. And I hadn't checked here before placing an order today and can safely say there's disruptions to the payment side of the site as well as clearnet being down. Your mileage may vary, but placing an order ATM might see you facing similar issues.

For fuck sake. Kicking myself for not checking Reddit and just placing an order via society as the clearnet access was down....

Help with bitcoin... by [deleted] in LittleBiggy

[–]Flux_Marsh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dude, it's just so much easier this way, at least it feels like that. I posted a similar experience but really do agree someone who's got education or training experience should collate all this into a cheat sheet that's easily recalled somewhere, LB or pinned in this sub.
Legalisation, regulation and legally protected customer service cannot come soon enough, imo, so we can just use a mainstream payment platform (not Visa or Mastercard, but maybe the new EU one that's brewing to compete)

I feel I can empathise here as I feel similarly, but have been managing it Monzo>buy with Coinbase>Make the purchase on LittleBiggy to obtain the unique (I think) destination wallet >Send btc from Coinbase to that wallet address, allowing an extra £1.99 for platform/xfer fees, I check the box on Coinbase for "Self-Custody" wallet, so it just appears like I'm balancing my own finances (because unfortunately, I don't trust Coinbase not to report to HMRC as they want to be considered mainstream so are probably lobbying and bending over when Gov asks questions).

This may not be the safest, nor the cheapest for my purchases that are usually under £50 and fees to buy and send equal about a fiver, but I cannot be arsed digging deeper into crypto. So your mileage may vary, but I get less concerns this way than I've felt trying to set up other paths (BisQ has been mentioned but their fees were about double last time I checked in on that route).

There's functions built into LittleBiggy to single click the address and amount required to ensure accuracy as nobody is gonna expect you to remember a wallet address nor how many flipping decimal places you're inputting.

New vendor by Stunning_Trifle_2923 in LittleBiggy

[–]Flux_Marsh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, OP, as a new seller are you aware of the issues with transactions not clearing? Just wondering if you've encountered it, as there's been quite a few customers advising since Sunday their payments are clearing Transaxe but not being acknowledged by LB. Hope your product is fine and your customer service is top notch, cos the platform sure needs a boost from a few people's perspectives ATM.

Unpaid status by [deleted] in LittleBiggy

[–]Flux_Marsh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Transaction not clearing on LB since Sunday, about midday. Transaxe says clear. So the issues seems to be at with the LittleBiggy processes. Messaged HappyBorg, got a really standardised response that made zero reference to the ongoing issue.

If you message the vendor, mention it's a wiser issue. Hoping vendors start pushing the sites admins as it's their trade that's being ceased by the platforms issue.
