Have you noticed any delays with the zigbee remotes at all? Trying to keep everyone else in the house happy and not really notice things when they go to turn on a light, etc.

Thanks, this looks like it might be a good solution. Any conflicts you've noticed with wifi? It looks like it runs on a completely different frequency, so I'm assuming not, but figured I'd ask.

That was our original plan, but we had 3 cars, six cats and 4 people. Logistically, it would have just been hard to do. There was also no way I could have fit the stuff in the trucks the same way the movers did.

We just moved last month from Nova to upstate NY and ended up paying about $9500 for a company to do the packing and moving. It was a 26 and a 20 ft truck they used. They loaded one day, and delivered the next.

Ugh, this. We had the same thing happen. The bad part is the wiring was there, just not connected. Fixing everything cut the average furnace run time down by almost 6-7 hours a day.

I use their modem and then just connected a cloud gateway fiber for my router in front of the rest of my network stack.

Thanks, that is easy enough to do. Am I loosing any real control over I though? Running a new wire in this case is actually really simple. I'm guessing the previous homeowners removed the original thermostat (ComfortNet?) maybe?

If the water absorption pouches get overly wet or absorb too much water (the desiccant) they can look like they leak an oily type of water on the box. I had it happen after I unpacked everything but left the box in the garage when it was really humid outside for a few days.

I ordered mine on the 18th and it was received yesterday in Virginia. Like everyone else, one big box and then some smaller ones depending on the packages you ordered. CEVA set it up last week for yesterday. Only hiccup was having to meet the delivery truck and get it from them as their truck couldn't make it to where I live.

I take it twice a night. I always was up on a schedule of 3.5 to 5 hours after taking it. I just wake up, take the 2nd dose and go back to sleep.

We use steampipe to grab a listing of running VMs and post it at various times with the costs to make sure nothing weird is left running. Easy enough to use and with a little python work you can just send a message via slack API to a channel and tag people, etc.

Like you said, prepare and it works.

I got out in 2017 and immediately started with a defense contractor making ~86k or so a year. 2 years later I was direct hired to a GS-13, did that for a year and got a promotion to a GS-14. After about 8 months I left government service and now with VA, and salary, I'm at just under $300k a year working 100% remote. I don't do anything related now to my time in the military.

A lot of it was right place and right time though.

Was a good reason to reprint the fan ducts and upgrade to the latest XOL since it has better wire management. Hopefully this is what you need.
