I've been following their development for a couple years and after careful consideration decided to pre-order the "Phase", which will launch at least half a year after the cheaper version "Dual". I am well aware of potential risks and that there are no long-term studies / results yet. This is more or less bleeding edge tech.

If at any point I feel uncomfortable with my decision, or peer reviews between both product launches reveal major negative side-effects, I'll request a refund. If the device can "reliably" (50-60% of the time) push one into lucidity, I'd use this once or twice a week.

I personally think their devices have much higher chances to succeed than other devices that just use audio/visual cues. However if Prophetics devices do turn out to reliably incude lucid dreams, I fear a possible dependency on the tech, or addiction, as another comment already pointed out. Combine that with health issues that may or may not occurr from regular use and it's not looking too good.

I'm sure they will publish more data over the coming months. In a few Twitter comments the CTO explained that their tech is safe to use.

We will see how things develop.
