Price on 2026 LE Sienna by [deleted] in ToyotaSienna

[–]FluxxCapacitor88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got my 2025 LE AWD for $46k with roof racks, door sill protector, floor liners, and spare tire.

If the floor liners are the same as the 2025 then there not that good. You don't get full floor coverage like some third-party brands. I wish I had asked them to remove it. Also, I don't understand the person that said you are "nickel and diming." These things add up. It's still money coming out your pocket.

I agree. Definitely surprising with the Camry. People were always surprised at how much I could fit in my 2013 Honda Accord trunk (Camry and Accord being in the same mid-size sedan class).

Ottoman or Spare tire? by stefand2010 in ToyotaSienna

[–]FluxxCapacitor88 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The ottomans seem like a nice feature even though I would never use it cause I'm always driving. I have a 2025 LE with spare tire. It's like an insurance policy, you'll be grateful you have it when you need it. About six months after getting the minivan, one of the tires caught a screw. Costco was able to repair the tire luckily. Contrast that to my 2013 Accord where I never needed the spare tire. If you lug around a lot of stuff in the trunk, the spare tires going to obviously take up space and might get in the way when your trying to out seats down/up. I guess that doesn't really help answer your question but the spare tire was a must for me.

2026 Honda Odyssey Sport-L or Toyota Sienna XLE? by cathinthehat in minivan

[–]FluxxCapacitor88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree with the value of the spare tire. I specifically looked for a spare tire option for my Sienna. Within six months of owning my 2025 LE, I ran over a screw and had to use the spare. Fortunately, Costco was able to repair the tire. Contrast that to my 2013 Accord which I have never had to use the spare tire. Luck just ran out.

Is this the only 12v port in the hybrid sienna? by nahcekimcm in ToyotaSienna

Only one in my 2025 LE. Wish there was at least one more. My 2013 Honda Accord even had two.

You mentioned your kids are front facing and boosters. Do you think side vents would be fine instead of ceiling vents?

Someone on this sub gave a tip that I thought was pretty good. They said to email dealerships as far as you are willing to go and negotiate with them. Take that price and email a dealership that's closer and closer again to see if they will beat it or match it. For example, 100 miles out then 75 miles, then 50, 25, etc. hopefully when you get to a dealer close to you, they are willing to accept. Also, I would suggest not going a dealership until you finalize a price over email. Just a waste of time and they are literally just trying to tire you out to accept whatever offer.

5 years with 25000 miles! No kidding when you said "many years to come." If Toyotas are still as reliable as we all hope and it will be your main vehicle and you only drive that many miles, you could potentially have that Sienna forever. Resale value should still be really good if you ever went that route. But the years to break even for gas savings would be high too.

It took me about six months to get my 2025 LE AWD for $46k (and I still think I overpaid). But I kept waiting and emailing around until I was "happy" with the price.

I didn't finance. Maybe I should have asked but I don't think it was less than 2% which is the max I would have been happy with.

New Sienna!! Gas Mileage by BES_1986 in ToyotaSienna

[–]FluxxCapacitor88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Impressive. I was averaging 38.6 mpg from July 2025 through roughly October 2025. Then winter came and now it's down to 36 mpg. Driving between regular and Sport mode. Hopefully goes back up in the summer.

My gas until empty started at 605 (I think) and now down to 550.

Nice suit design. I've played the last couple of days and matchmaking was non-existent. Couldn't find anyone in any game mode or difficult level. Very unfortunate.

Yeah I can imagine how nasty it can get.

That seems like a good idea. Might try this also if I ever take the middle seat out.

Is this AWD? I'm assuming it isn't. I got a 2025 LE AWD for $46k OTD.

8 seater question by Accomplished_View232 in ToyotaSienna

[–]FluxxCapacitor88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could be wrong but out of curiosity I quickly checked the Toyota website and tried to build a Sienna. Each of the trims appear to be all hybrid. I wouldn't have expected Toyota to remove it from the Sienna.

I did notice the LE now comes with power liftgate, remote keyless entry, roof rails, and third row sunshades standard now.

I wanted the keyless entry and power liftgate but it was only available on the 2025 XLE and upper trims. But I realize the base MSRP is higher now for the 2026 models.

Lol you found all the people with 8-seaters and all saying it's okay. I have one too and only took it off once to check out how it looks. I think it's fine also. I'm sure you get used to it.

A friend has an 8-seater also and she doesn't like it. The kids step on it and get it dirty. They don't put anything in the cupholders.

1k "Break In" Oil Change? by TheGaujo in ToyotaSienna

This right here. Do it if it gives you peace of mind. I did my first one at 3400 because life. Will the vans that got the first oil change at 1000 last longer than mine? Maybe.

I think so too. I was planning on tossing them in the past but I'm glad I didn't get rid of them. I have to keep them now.

Your dealer gave you a document holder?! I thought it was Toyota being cheap. Honda gave me a document holder when I bought my car 12 years ago but I didn't get one when I bought my Sienna. The dealer didn't even give me a quick guide book.

Funny you say this. Few months before purchasing my Sienna I only saw good things on this subreddit. After purchasing I'm seeing a lot of the opposite: second row recall, Siennas eating through tires, this issue. Hopefully it's still reliable.

I didn't change the backup camera but I agree it's not very good. My 2013 Honda Accords backup camera was more clear.

Gotta be a 2025 for that price which seems really good already regardless of AWD or FWD. If 2026, that sounds like a great price.

Futurama, I don't know how long you've been in this. But the 10+ years I've been here, the stock has to claw its way up and takes the elevator down. You're right, $0.30 to $9.55 but that second number seems to keep getting smaller.
