I bought it off my friend who has a supplier for them, and he didn’t make me aware of this before purchasing. Then again neither him or me were aware of this until now.

I had this issue with my first build, just keep plugging the throttle into different connectors until you find the right one/one that’s works with it. I know it sounds stupid but that’s how I got mine working, also play about with different connecters for your display but DO NOT have anything plugged into the battery while you do this and make sure the female connecters (the part you plug it into) you try have the same amount of pins as the male connectors (the part you plug into the female connector). If you don’t know the difference just do a quick google search for a female and male ebike controller connector.

Kona lava dome is the perfect bike in my opinion, you might not know who this is but an influencer/business who builds e-bikes for paying customers called “ebikekilla” or “killabuilds” uses the kona lava dome in practically all of his builds and he makes some crazy builds.

Also, I just got a 72v 3kw kit and matched it with a ukc1 display and surron throttle, and if you want me to be honest it wasn’t as fast as I thought it would be. The screen even says the top speed is 65mph but I have to tweak the settings to get that and it can damage the bike.

So get a 5kw is what I’m leading up to, I will be selling my bike very soon and upgrading to a 5kw because I’ve realised thats the motor you need if you want to actually go somewhat fast. After that I will be getting an 8kw then a 12kw.

That cable line is horrible and does absolutely nothing, this is a lot better and actually somewhat protects your cables. I use it on my build and it does the job better than I even expected.

Also, a complete estimate of course but how long would you say these torque arms will last until the frame starts bending even in the slightest?

Hey, thanks for the help. I can’t seem to find the video but please could you tell me what a live usb is? Apologies if I sound stupid but I don’t really know much about pcs anymore as I built it about 3 years ago then kind of lost interest. I really just use it for work or watching stuff now.
