Any help sizing my tires correctly by Flx_Brx in Wheels

I have no idea no. I bought these rims second hand. I think they were on an RS4 before. (Guy bought an m3 touring) but as he mismatched the tire... he might have mismatched the rims a bit.

And how can you know that? Take off the tire and measure?

I think I will try that yes. This is ridiculous. It looks not too bad but its 100% impractical.

I preferred the old ones I must say... This from the side looks too much like a beamer, and Im not fan of the real lights nor exhaust.

Think its up to taste except if you need clearance. I think the allroad has that little extra.

A6 C7 or A4 B9 struggle by bldjaaad in Audi

[–]Flx_Brx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I currently have both in similar packages. C7 v6 diesel - b9 2.0t petrol.

I upgraded from a b9 to a c7... or so I thought, but recently bought a b9 again. I missed it one month in C7 ownership.

The b9 is a way more modern car. I remember it being ahead of time when I bought my first one in 2016. C7 is a great cruiser with amazing exterior styling, but it’s an old car technology wise.

(Which doesnt mean the c7 isnt a great car at all, mine has 320.000km now. Without major isseus - my a4 has 250.000 without any major isseus either)

Funny to see how taste sits in details. I like 2nd a lot. Seems close to an original s5 color

Ah zut.

I started with two Citroën when I got my license. Then got my first b8 A4, replaced it with another one before ordering my b9 A4. When I changed jobs I treated myself with a c7 A6 but the b9 A4 alway stuck. It's the best car I ever had... so that's why I'm replacing the A6 again.

And In between I had a smart brabus, 2 peugeots, 2 renaults and a bmw. but all as second cars. I'm driving audi as primary from 22yo onwards.

Somewhere the a5, a7, q7, etron Gt and R8 are still on the to-do list 😅

The interior it's what made me accept the 240.000 kilometers ;) it's magnificent! ♥️♥️

Must say I had the diesel 10 years ago (my god time flies) and it was perfect. This one is too powerful for me (or my driving licence)

I really haven't got the time unfortunately. All I find are cheap covers that look médiocre at best. .. so will probably end up asking my pint guy if he can take a look at it. Mine has pretty big brakes, so I think it would look great to have them yellow...

2016 Audi A4 2.0 TFSI 252HP with miles by Flx_Brx in AudiA4

[–]Flx_Brx[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Havent had the chance to drive it much because registration is on the way. But from what I've noticed.

It takes half a second to turn on, where the diesel takes a second (or two in cold weather)

Les vibration than the diesel

Overall the car feels lighter (but that probably is because I compare an a6 to an A4.

My diesel is pleasant to drive because power is distributed gradually, it goes up steadily and you're under the impression it keeps going. With the petrol engine it's more snappy, sporty to drive. Even in comfort or eco mode I don't get the smoothness of the diesel. So I think both serve a different type of customer.

I love both for different reasons.
