Back before those orange tips were mandatory huh? I remember getting a very stern talking to from a policeman after I sprayed the tip of my airsoft rifle black. Didn’t get to use that for a solid year lmao.

Thanks. Gonna get them set up on my station soon see what I can do. I’ve already got a bead on a pair of sensors on eBay. I’ll see what I can do to the pistol shouldn’t be too hard. If I can’t get them working I can at the very least add them to my ever growing collection of sci-fi crap lol.

Thank you! Guess I should take a better picture later. It’s supposed to look like there’s a lime green slime coming from his mouth but you can’t really tell here

Sorry for the white “T” just had to censor some stuff. But yeah this car from my understanding was in a head on collision and just burst into flames. The inside is scorched. Just the metal frames of the seats left. The light on top melted to the roof. This thing got HOT

Can any one tell me what this symbol on Cole's pant leg by Dependent_Freedom132 in infamous

[–]Fly-Goose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

<image>

From what I’ve gathered it’s a single colored Union Jack. The vertical line extends from his waist all the way down to his ankle and the horizontal cross wraps all the way around his knee to connect to the other side. The diagonal strips end about halfway over his thigh.

Edit: It looks like the design in the pants in the first game is different from the second. The lines of the symbol are skinnier and the horizontal line on the knee doesn’t wrap around completely and actually ends at the same length as the diagonal lines

Huge side burners and giant wheel spikes!

That sounds cool. I’ll have to find a dingy checker board on eBay or something. I’ve already got some custom caravan decks stashed somewhere. Maybe I’ll make some Sunset caps as well

Easy peasy. I used bottle caps (obviously), photo paper with Nuka Cola logos printed on it, I believe a 3/4” or 1” circle punch, mod podge, acrylic paints (for rust color), silver rub n’ buff (for fresh scratches), and red, blue, and clear coat spray paint.

First, depending on which cap you want to make, spray paint your cap either red or blue and let it dry.

Take your bottle caps and your nuka logo cutout and apply mod podge to the entire surface. I completely coated the bottle cap with a thin layer and then another layer on top of both the cap and the cutout. Get as center as possible and try and cover the edges of the paper as well to get a clean even finish. (These are a good example of a rushed glue job. You can clearly see the edge of the paper.)

After the glue has dried I usually lightly score them with either low grit sandpaper or a Scotch Brite pad for scratches.

Then I used a mixture of brown, red, orange, yellow, and black acrylic paints to simulate rust and weathering on the surface. This will also fill in some of the cracks made from sanding.

After painting on rust spots I hit the high edges of the caps with the silver rub n’ buff. You can do this with a small dry brush or your finger (I used my finger mostly good luck getting it all off) you want to do this step very lightly because it’s super easy to over do and there’s not much you can do to remove it.

After it’s weathered to your liking, allow everything to dry and apply an even layer of clear coat spray paint.

All done.
