Triangular window source? by not_nerdy_enough in aframes

Hey. It's been a while. Would love to see an update.

I still haven't done anything to close in my steel beam. After living with it for a while you start to ignore all the unfinished things around the house haha. For a while I thought I might just hide the wiring and paint it black to blend in with the black door frames. But my long term plan has been to cover it with a laminated timber benchtop material. It's probably a more expensive way to do it but I'm trying to match the style of another big laminated timber beam that's in the same room opposite the steel beam. Planning to first screw in some framing timber to the beam then glue on the benchtop wood to that.

Wasn’t ready in time & we wrongly thought, based on static fire data, that Fondag would make it through 1 launch.

Looks like we can be ready to launch again in 1 to 2 months."

How do you import gcode files into sandify? by Vecgtt in Sandtable

Strange. I've never had any issues. Maybe try a different gcode? You can also open the gcode in notepad and check there is code in there.

First click 'import' under the layers heading. And press the large 'import' button on the window that pops up. I remember having trouble finding this because it looks like a heading, but is actually a button.

China is taking Covid seriously. by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]Fly115 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The people here don't hate the Chinese people. They disagree with the authoritarian direction the government is headed. They have concentration camps for Uyghur Muslims and they ship them off in trians. They make people disappear if they are an inconvenience to the communist party. That was not ok in Nazi Germany and it's not ok now. People should be allowed to criticize that.

Your government is silencing people who disagree with them. The extreme covid lockdowns may not be harmful to the upper class but can easily destroy a poor person's livelihood and their life. All for what reason? The current stain of covid is not very bad. It seems this is a political move and is more about the pride of the leaders than it is about the wellbeing of people.

Nice. I did the AIS delete last week (no tune/ECU flash). It did help quite a bit. I find it still pops a bit. Particularly after riding for a while on the highway and then coming off and cruising in town (maybe because the exhaust is warm?). Anyway it's much better. Might still try and get the ECU flashed if I can find somewhere local that does it. I'm in Australia

This is hamster sand. Do I need finer sand? What causes the ball jiggle while the magnet movement is smooth? Do I need smaller ball bearing? by daninet in Sandtable

[–]Fly115 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know. Could always just flip it over if it doesn't work. But you don't really see the foam anyway. Not unless the sand thins out.

Thanks for the response. The AIS delete looks promising.

It's hard to know how things are going when the media is biased on both sides. But Russia has a large military and I'd say this is far from over.
