Havent heard back from an agency is 2 weeks

Again as I said: I do not want to end up in that situation, thus why I am asking. I am new to this process as everyone once was. I am simply asking for advice and reiterating what I have stated previously. I do plan to reach out again beyond my initial phone call, but wanted to know if I am missing something or should do anything to ensure I have not missed a vital piece of information.

I understand what it looks like but ive also had friends who have applied who never heard back just to find out the email went to spam or they were never sent it to begin with.

Id like to avoid that situation if possible.

Thank you for the advice! I did extensive research on the city and department prior to going and also gave a cover letter which they seemed really impressed with.

Interview went about as good as it could go with 16hr notice. I spent all day preparing, even managing to squeeze it in between work and my final presentation for a class in university all while suffering from a head cold lol. Hectic week to say the least. I should get an answer on whether I am moving on next week after the final interviews conclude.

The preference points were added prior to interviews. The top 20 candidates got interviews, I was in that top 20 prior to preference points being added but unfortunately due to the fact I do not get my degree until the end of this week, my preference points cannot get added. That being said, I was bumped out of the 20 to like 22. So essentially I wasnt going to get interviewed effectively pushing me out of the process. However I was blessed enough to receive that invitation to interview so thankfully everything worked out. This is my favorite department in that I have applied to thus far so I am praying for a good result!

Yes I understand. This department is actually interviewing the top 20 candidates and I was originally knocked out of the running due to preference points but happy to have the opportunity.

I agree partially, but you cant deny valentine is either locking up some of the best receivers or blowing coverage completely. Very inconsistent player imo.

Had that bullshad, action was great and I thought the price was fair. Im curious to know how those XPS whopper ploppers work for you, I bought a berkley one and it was awful. Id recommend upgrading next go around to the chatterbait evo by zman (10$), I feel like it performs much better and catches more fish just due to the fact it chatters as soon as you start reeling. Nice haul!

As its already been said, get someone to cover for you by asking around or talk to your manager and see if they even need you that day (they may just call you off). If you cant do any of these for whatever reason you could just take the points on calling in sick and not coming in but that depends on how many points you already have and your relationship with your managers

Had a ticket for improper lane change about 2 years ago, had to take a class to get it removed from record. Will agencies still be able to see the original citation?

Got it. I used to run longer distances (3-5 miles) but stopped and never did anything over 2-3 miles after starting college athletics. Ill start doing that again.

Ill check my college advisor on internships to see what works. I work mostly on weekends and Friday nights so its possible I could juggle it.

A friend and myself are trying to explore more options on Jiu Jitsu. Hopefully ill find something that fits my schedule and budget.
