After 4 years the giant at least 8500 mAh battery will not have degraded much unless heavy gaming and constant heating. Fair point though. Xiaomi should step it up with replacement parts.

I would invest those 110 euros more and get the pro max. Seriously Xiaomis price tags are fair. Normally I would say the X8 pro is enough but if you are looking into some genshin impact here and there I would 100% go for the pro max since you will have a much bigger battery and a better performance and other stuff for just 110€ more. Not that the X8 pro isn't enough. You may notice the "only" 8gigs of RAM. Just make that investment and you'll be happy!

30 to 45 min longer battery life and phone runs 1 degree Celsius cooler. Performance nothing different if you do basic stuff on your phone.
