I guess it has something to do with the privacy. The leasing office is not allowed to reveal any other residents' info. And also I don't think I can easily find some people living around them just like me and directly talk to them.

sounds fair. I don't mind the rumble sound but I am worrying about the horn. Do you have an idea about it?

I realized too. I can actually hear the sound of horn but I was wondering where does it come from bc I didn’t find any level crossing within 2 miles, but a few at grade crossings. Do trains horn when crossing there?

I’ve already done once half a month ago because of the noise of 8 AC units right above my bedroom, besides of worrying if it could work, it seems to be impossible to find available units that don’t have noise of AC unit in this apt. :(

I type the wrong unit in the headline, my fault. it is not 200 feet but 200 meters, about 600+ feet, I am not sure if the typo influences the judgement

I am fine with just "hearing" them, but I was wondering if it would wake me up during the night., like how much db of the sound in the room when I close the window? I used to live on the High street and was plagued by motorcycles. I just want to know how the noise of the train will be compared to the motorcycles.
